Who'd have thought that the $20 deluxe gnaw would look awful compared to the several year old $10 legend? I had similar thoughts. I don't think it's that bad but yes, compared to the olde legend Gnaw it doesn't have the same joyfulness. The alt mode is nowhere near as good. Won't stop me army building the bugger though. -Ralph

Gnaw just isn't round enough. The teeth don't look right either - they look like one line of long teeth whereas they should be layers of shorter teeth.

The teeth are wrong, but they do have the optical illusion of multiple rows on the top set. It's just hard to see without zooming in.
What irks me is at deluxe, they didn't even bother to hide the robot head.
Not bothering with a preorder. May or may not pick one up if I see it in person. Feel no need to own this one. Like Ralph said, this one does not spark joy.

They are all pretty solid, even Gnaw. Going to stop at just the one Sharkticon though.. can't possibly comment on Junkions however.

Gnaw looks... not quite right, as others have said. There's something about his proportions that isn't quite right - he just doesn't look joyful. Maybe he needs to be rounder, I don't know. But I'll still end up getting one, of course, to lead my small army of Legends Sharkticons. I think they've gone with making the robot mode the priority with the compromise being the alt-mode...which I think is the wrong choice. It does deepened my urge to find the IMPOSSIBLE TO GET Cyberverse Warrior Gnaw. -Ralph

Gnaw looks great as a robot in that turnaround and almost sold me - but then I see the shark mode and realise that the problem is that his legs need to be much further forward.

Is this TonTon the person who was supposed to be taking factory samples?

There's one who's being supplied by the thieves, and there's one who's supposedly being supplied legit by hasbro.
Don't know which is which, and don't know if the latter is true, a lie, or just a rumor

The only one of the guys that reviews stuff early that I believe has got stuff from Hasbro is Kevin Liu aka Black Lai www.youtube.com/c/KevinsTransformers/videosThe rest all seem to have stuff that's somehow escaped from the factory

Is this TonTon the person who was supposed to be taking factory samples? I think so and their reviews are tedious so I stopped paying attention some time ago. -Ralph

Follower count on the YouTube pays off.

Yeah, if you're open about being sent them legitimately, no problem. Even if I were desperate to see these as soon as possible, I'm not watching any dodgily sourced stuff.

Opened up Jazz. Looks nice. Frightened to transform it though: that car roof looks like it could break if I sneeze.

Something I've noticed on Scourge and Jazz (after handling Kingdom figures) is that they are noticeably missing thigh swivels. The only other SS86 toy I have is Kup - and he has them but that might just be because of his ragdoll pull apart gimmick. Do the others (Hot Rod, Grimlock etc) have the thigh swivel?

Grimlock might. I don't think Blurr does, just the ball joint at the hip. Hot Rod has a different connection, I think.

I've never really thought about whether my own thighs can swivvel.
