I'd be prepared to brave the cinema for this, but having thought about it what I'd rather do is rewatch the previous four first and put this one on the end, so it'll be a Blu-ray watch for me in a few months.

Why not go the whole hog, then. This is Bond 25, not Bond 5. You got time before the Blu-ray... Martin

The amount of free time I get it would take years to do that!
Well, it is anyway come to think of it. I've been re-watching the relevant film after reading the book for a long time now. Did OHMSS last month, so I'm on what, 11 out of 14 books? That's taken about 8 years.

We're booked for JW:D Thursday evening. Thankfully we'll be up the back of the massive IMAX screen. Current covid news means I'll be going back to quiet morning showings for the next wee while.

Thanks to Cineworlds effed up implementation of the new pricing structure I cant prebook tickets outside of my price group meaning if I want to see Imax I have to buy tickets from the cinema on the day.
The plus side of that is I have a good idea of audience size and can not go if its looking too crowded.

Thought I'd catch Lightyear and Elvis today but screenings are far too full with covid cases now so high. Another cinema sabatical may be on the cards until the cases drop (run out of annual leave until August for weekday trips when cinema is quiet).
Not risking my health for a film.

Had booked for several films this weekend as I was thinking of going back until I saw the rate is now 1 in 25 and cancelled. At the moment I am paying for Unlimited to see sod all, but better that than catching covid. If the rate doesn't improve by the end of the month, I'll just cancel my card again. The thought of being in a darkened room with strangers during such a rise in infections frightens the shit out of me. Put is this way: not even the booked prospect of seeing the Dalek films on the big screen could overcome my fear. Going to the cinema right now feels suicidal. -Ralph
