So, exclusive shenanigans aside, any opinions on Ratchet himself? To me he looks a bit... muted. Because Sunbow Accuracy is not the friend people seem to think it is. It makes guys like Ratchet and Sunstreaker extremely bland and boring. Ratchet's secondary color needs to be red, not white. Red head, red fists, red thighs, and some red highlights. |

Pinwig F08565 it's in the RK URL and the image names That's a weird number. It should be F0856 to fit the current pattern, which would put this set between Sandstorm and Tigertrack. As it is that's too many numbers - product codes are all a letter and four numbers. |

Which as usual means nothing, except for the fact that these odyssey sets aren't in a block of numbers together (like I think the Netflix ones are all blocked in groups) and so *possibly* aren't all about to drop at the same time. Maybe this is another ongoing thing that will stretch into next year. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part. |

Man, I've currently got like 18 individual items on pre-order right now, dating back from Feb. It'll be nice to get what I've actually paid for, quite apart from being shown what I can't have.

Putting to one side the availability issue and looking at the toys themselves it's not a bad 2-pack. A themed pack of 2 medics is a neat idea. I don't think we've had that before. Suddenly, that Arcee mould looks better. I like the map in the box. Amused that the back of the Ratchet vehicle mode is not shown. We all know why!

My main reason for getting this one is so that I could give one of our WFC Ratchets a red helmet. The conjunx prevented me from painting Siege Ratchet since she's more cartoon-oriented than I am (I know, I know, I've tried to correct her, what can I do..?), but with two I feel I'd have some room to say that it's fair that I can do it with one of them... |

While I feel more inclined to seek out a Siege Ratchet (prefer the deco), really not thrilled about the ‘hard to find stuff’ double-whammy yesterday. I completely missed the initial Bluestreak preorder announcement, and it was only thanks to twitter I scored one from Star Action Figures. I know he’s still on Zavvi, but they seem to have a dubious track record of actually shipping things, so hopefully the folk who ordered from there get one. Really confused why it’s now been Ratchet and Bluestreak twice in a row as the hard to get ones too.
Maybe this is just the monkey’s paw effect after we got Hubcap, Rotorstorm and Centurion before America.

Hmmm. So where does the Ratchet rumour come from then? -Ralph Quite a while back it was rumoured he was a leader. Ratchet seems to have been kicking about as a rumour for a long time without any substantiation. is the start of the leader Ratchet with someone who had reliable info supplying it. |

Just proof of how much a masterpiece the original was - they're making the newer versions so difficult to get just so that it doesn't become widespread knowledge that no matter how hard they try, they'll never be able to better the original...

$6.27 shipping it says on my invoice. -Ralph Won't include the customs deposit Shipping has only gone up by about $7. The $25 is customs and postage. Mine was $7 and $11 for customs. Also if you go through the order process theres sometimes a cheaper shipping option. Even with the increase its still not much more than £25 per toy which is essentially what we are paying for Select deluxes from Kapow and In Demand once you add postage. |
