Trial runs out soon. Think I'll keep it for a while. It's cheap and I use it more than Netflix or Prime. I tend to forget the BBC Iplayer exists. Still loads of old telly to watch on it.

On a slightly unrelated note, I was reading an in-depth article about 321 yesterday. I'd no idea Caroline Munro was the regular glamorous assistant on that. I thought she was a big film star by the time that was on.

Jesus that PR is complete nonsense. But it looks like the BBC content is safe:
BritBox U.K. [will be integrated with ITVX] although [it] will remain a “separate entity” within the app and require a paid subscription.
an ITV spokesperson told Variety: “To give ITV greater control over BritBox U.K. and [allow it to be integrated with] ITVX, the BBC has ceased to be a shareholder. They will continue to be a strong partner for BritBox U.K. and BritBox International, and we have agreed a new long-term [contract for content supplied by] the BBC."

*Does Britbox still exist? DW was/is on it but it's a small service. I loved it but had to bin it when updates for the app were turned off when it was subsumed by ITVX and no longer worked.  Does till end of April |

I'm still waiting to hear how that is going to function for those of us with subscriptions to Britbox - do they just get summarily cancelled, do they migrate over to ITVX. It seems unclear.
In the meantime I am planning to finish my Space:1999 S2 run in the next week or so, so that when the time comes for Operation: Exodus I don't feel like anything important is being left behind...

It was by far my favourite streamer and introduced me to shows I had heard of but never previously had a chance to see such as Catweazle, Yes Minister, Tenko, Survivors, etc. It was also nice to marathon Blake's 7.
