There is one very good reason to have the free trial though: it has the recon of the missing episodes of THE WHEEL IN SPACE on it! This was previously produced for Britbox US as an exclusive and is not on shiny disc.

Also, it has the 50th anniversary Thunderbirds episodes on it that you can't get anywhere else. Hooray.
And Blake's 7, which Ralph does not have on disc.
This will do fine for 6 months, then I'll bin it.

Alas, I am unable to find Britbox on the Roku device thus rendering it a bit pish if I can't watch on the telly. Hey ho. Some stuff to watch on my computer for free though so not a big deal but I wouldn't pay for a streaming service I can't see on the telly.

Now I get just a grey screen when trying to view in Chrome. The connection is fine and Prime, Netflix and Youtube stream with no issues. Tried Britbox in Firefox: it took 3 mins to start a video then stopped after 6 seconds.
No wonder this is getting 6-month freebies!

Those are pretty good. Worth watching. They make a self contained story that doesn't need the rest of the series to enjoy by itself.

Turns out there is an app so I can watch on my phone but not on the telly. It defaults to SD so you have to go to settings to switch to HD.
This means I could watch Star Cops on my phone on the go...but I won't.
