Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 15!
Yesterday: A good day in terms of what happened, good morning at church. A bad day physically: the pain rolled in early in the Prayer Meeting just after 9am and wouldn't shift. V wobbly after lunch, nasty fall post sleep which I wasn't right after :-(
Today: L Physio. Think that's it. One week till the Electric Wheelchair arrives,
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Liz's back improves. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

13 months of covid lockdowns and restrictions have taken their toll. Last pair of jeans ripped so went to put clean pair on today. An hour passed in which I found none of my jeans fit anymore. Couldn't get any on. Not even the emergency one-size-up pair. Jen has been asked to get me some larger waist size trousers at asdaland after work. I can't leave the house. -Ralph

After forsaking working from home, I WFHed on Friday in order to be in to receive the Marvel Handbook Omnibus, I WFHed today in order to be in to receive the Jim Lee art book (OK, and let the pest control guy in to inspect my attic), and it looks like I might WFH tomorrow in order to be in to receive the DC Who's Who Omnibus. Amazon claims it's arriving tomorrow (premium delivery thanks to the free Prime trial), though it hasn't marked it as dispatched. Hmmm!
It may be Wednesday before I see my few socially distanced office work colleagues again, taste office canteen coffee and take a cheeky lunchtime trip into the newly reopened HMV. We'll see!

A trip to dentist this afternoon. 12 months of repairs done in 35 minutes. All went smoothly except for one very jagged bit of filling that is shredding my tongue. Hopefully will smooth down quickly.

Shops reopening in Wales! It felt good to be back in, and welcoming lots of customers back. (I even sold a few Transformers.)

Jen got me some larger waist jeans so I was able to go for a walk.
With restrictions lifting from today I am fearful of infection rates rising as millions of unvaccinated folk mix so I will not see the inside of any shop until three weeks after whenever I get my 1st covid jab. Just can't risk it. Popped very briefly to the post office to send a thing and that's the last building other than my home that I'll step inside until jab time.

After Amazon changed their story at 9.43am about whether they'd be delivering DC Who's Who today, I cursed them and messaged my colleagues to tell them I'd be offline for half an hour and late to the team meeting as I relocated to the office. Knocked off at 4, popped into FP on the offchance they had the DC book - they didn't, but reckoned it was due out tomorrow - bought a GI Joe Scarlett off them to support the local economy, then wandered to HMV. There was a small queue outside, not because it was full, but because there was a fire alarm. After a few minutes it stopped and they let us in the shop. After a few minutes of browsing the alarm went off again and we went outside again. A few minutes after that they told us we wouldn't be allowed back in for some time, as there was actually a small fire going on. Oops! Passed two fire engines with sirens wailing as I walked home. Why are all my favourite places catching fire this month? This last week: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-56674010Knowing my luck a cinema will probably burn down next week. Martin

I only had job to do today and that was to have dinner ready for Jen after her work but I tripped and dropped it in the sink as she arrived.

As an owner of light-coloured, easily stained carpets, I congratulate myself and consider it a sign of good fortune whenever I spill food or drink anywhere not on said carpet.
Well... usually.
Edit: Well, looking back on it. After the clean-up and replacement meal.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday.
Yesterday: Not Good. Body went NO during morning Prayer Meeting and I basically had to go to bed and write the day off. Managed a bit more later on but that was only after a 3 hour afternoon sleep and even then I was having to take it very slowly and carefully. I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong, wasn't sure what caused it (bit misty early on was the only external influence I could identify) but it does happen, I do every so often get days like that.
Today: Let's see if today goes better. Food order needs doing. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Stop burning down Cardiff, Martin!!! -Ralph Is it just Cardiff Martin is torching? The question must be asked? Is he in fact responsible for some mysterious restaurant fires which I'm being blamed for?

Is it just Cardiff Martin is torching? The question must be asked? Is he in fact responsible for some mysterious restaurant fires which I'm being blamed for? I have alibis with witnesses! You _claim_ you were in bed for most of yesterday. Were you under constant watch? Martin

Liz and Jonathan can testify I did not leave the house and certainly couldn't make it to Cardiff & back, torch a few restaurants and spill food on your carpet!

OK, face not great, not painful but feels a little warm and a touch stingy on my left, which has been the worse side. Pollen?
I'm also feeling a bit like I can't quite balance my temperature right, which frequently happens spring/autumn and may be being influenced by how the face feels.
Tummy is.... not right. Not painful, just not right. This makes me think I may have eaten something at some stage.

The only thing I know about Tiverton is that about fifteen years ago the football ground there used to sell absolutely amazing cheese and onion pasties from their food hut.
