I got mine!
Once more, both of these need real names. (Thunderfoot and Wildride spring to mind immediately)
Thunderfoot Tyrannocon's new head looks like G1 Grimlock reimagined in G2 style (think cyberjet, autorollers, mw flipchangers)
Her deco is marvelous, and after 25 years, it's nice to get some version of BW Megatron in a realistic deco (original, t-wrecks, bw10, cybertron, cindersaur.
Mine though has an extremely loose right elbow, though. Unable to hold the weight of the rex head in either mode.
JP93 is, of course, a new mold. He feels kind of cheapish, but not very (if that makes any sense).
He doesn't feel up to the quality of the Generations line we've become accustomed to, but his quality is still worlds better than the Cyberverse Deluxes or NuRiD Warriors.
I'd be disappointed with this quality as a regular line release.
But as a one off exclusive mold with a deco that's worlds better than anything in Generations, i'm very satisfied.
He also has a very fun head sculpt.

I was just mulling over what a sensible price for this would be, and £75 isn't far off. What do we have? a repaint of a leader and an original deluxe, so £75 seems about right for what the original retail should have been. However if X-Pants, a leader, can reach £20, then what are we waiting this to reach before pouncing?

Reasonably-priced now (given what Deluxes and Leaders go for), but since I think they're still over-priced it's still too much. I'd like £40, but I very much doubt it'd go that low, so... maybe £50 for me. |
