Unboxed mine today.
Did we ever conclusively prove what JP93 mould shares with?

Doesn't share a mold with anything. Completely original.
Would kill for a repaint into Armada Red Alert though.

Its such a simple design its hard to imagine it being ureused at the moment.
It completely lacks the complexity of everything since Siege and isnt making efforts to hide hollow areas. It really feels like some left over concept from the pre Combiner Wars generations line.
Thats not a complaint I've really enjoyed messing around with it.

Doesn't share a mold with anything. Completely original. Am I remembering right that, bar the GI Joe toys, it's the only one that is? Ghostbusters - MP10 & Hotspot Top Gun - at present unknown Back to the Future - Siege Sideswipe X-Men - SS Jetfire Jurassic Park - Kingdom Megatron & at present unknown Draculus - TR Mindwipe GI Joe - likely original, may share parts with Joe versions. Tonkanator - 1985 Devastator So, GIJoe aside which are larger than usual to acomodate the figures, the JP93 jeep and Top Gun's Maverick are the only two Transformers we've not really found elsewhere

They're also two of the most unusual/unlike a standard generations figure. You'd think they were reused rejected designs, but that would beg the question of what they were supposed to be in the first place. I think because the alt mode is what's important with these licenses that they're probably bespoke designs, but cheaply thought out to come in under budget.

I think the Megatron repaint may be my favourite version of the mould. Not a colour scheme previously done on BW Ultra Megatron, which is helping because there's no comparison there, and the chest colours plus new head are screaming BW version of G1 Grimlock! Glad I waited till it was £40

They both look decent. Surprised by this though: shops are still trying to shift the first one at deep discount. Maybe it sold well in the U.S.?

Should the legs on the dinosaur/robot be the other way around? Not sure.
Also, it's very Iguanus - especially the tail weapon.

Do you reckon 12 is an engineering reuse of 93? There isn't much visually similar in either mode, but the head coming out of the bonnet and the car doors out like wings behind gives them both a similar feel.
I'm not up on the Dino stuff in detail, is it a new mould?

Is there any of Siege Hound in that jeep robot? Maybe it just looks similar.

I'm thinking Dilophocon borrows a lot of engineering from Kingdom Cheetor, and looks to be one of those "Made from four molds!" toys Mark is always praising. I don't thing there's anything quite like the nedry jeep, and any similarities are coincidence brought on by "front-end=chest, doors=wings" being the most iconic TF configuration.

Instead of a gun, I wish they just straight up gave Nedrytron the roadsign as his weapon.
I also feel like he should be a deception, with Dilo as a Predacon.

That Dilfocon somehow looks like an older mold, even though I'm fairly sure it isn't. I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about it. Maybe the way that the end of the tail flips around to become the weapon - that's not something that we tend to see a lot of these days.
Whatever the case, this is an interesting idea for a set, but it's not quite doing it for me, and I'm not sure why...

This set appeals to me far more than the first one. It has an almost Lego-esque of humour to it.

It's much cheaper than the last one. What are we looking at here? Two Deluxes? A Deluxe and a Voyager?
