It's basically a deluxe sized "cab" jet who combines with a "trailer" to make a super jet, and again to make a super robot, PMOP style. This is Star Saber.
And it comes with a lion guy (who used to be japanese PMOP). This is a seperate guy named Victory Leo. And he can combine with the jet robot super mode, Unicron Trilogy style. This is Victory Saber.
So the haslab Victory Saber comes with all of this. Both guys.
It's like getting a complete set of PMOP with God Bomber/Apex Armor.

Its questionable if Star Saber is an upgrade on PMOP or not, but but Victory Leo is such a big upgrade on Godbomber that Im not sure Ive ever properly thought of him as such. |

Dug my Robotmaster Victory Sabrer out today. Dug mine out too. Any place in Victory Saber jet mode to store smaller guns + blade? I'm sure I had the smaller guns in Victory Leo's hands previously, but can't figure out a decent configuration this time round. |

Much as I'd like to have a modern Victory Saber, I can't be the only customer that Hasbro has lost by going down the HasLabs route with this. A couple of Titan-knee-high figures for more than the cost of a Titan? No, thank you.

Height isn't everything.... though it is difficult to accept that sometimes when it comes to toys and pricing. I've looked at certain toys recently and thought "you are no way a Leader!"
There's some discussion up thread on how run numbers affects pricing..... We're potentially looking at a 15-30K run toy as opposed to a retail toy which could have a 100K run
My suspicion is a large number of factors conspired against Hasbro doing this for retail - brand new from scratch moulds for known lesser known characters who maybe don't quite fit existing price points.... and I suspect at retail we'd have probably seen it at the Titan price point anyway.
The general feeling appears to be that Hasbro have got this one about right.

Agreed. Mass and moving parts affects the toy's pricepoint more than size, now.
And that's the hard thing, we need to look at the classes as price points, and not sizes.
