Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 38
Yesterday: BUSY, Church was good, if slightly technically challenging. We were doing something new and I think it worked OK, albeit with room for some improvements which the tech guys have already had a few ideas about. Then in the afternoon an attempt to find a missing part for my POTP Predaking turned into a major tidy for the library - and yes, we did find the missing rear of Predaking's gun..... down the back of J's desk! Also reassembled 3 Hoth Lego sets which had been in a crate and chucked out more packaging.
Today: Teching mid morning. L teaching on Zoom a new group. J out at college. And a bit more teching for a PM tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

This should hopefully be my last week unwaged since late December 2020! Partial wage due end of the week (started partway through a pay period). First full wage end of October.
Likely to be reamed for tax as last employer would not give me a P45 but hey ho. Something is better than nothing!
Ralph needs toys, er, food and household bills of course!

In the office today for a full day's work the first time since March 2020. Such an odd sensation getting the peak time train and having a seat and it not being cramped and overcrowded.
Came home to Studio Series Slug and Wreck-Gar and a come and collect card for Lootcrate Optimus.

Was wobbly and achy anyway, am most mornings at the moment, but the pain rolled in BIG TIME during this morning's prayer meeting to the point I was struggling to speak.
Bath and probably back to bed I think.

Back in the office tomorrow, couple of new senior management in so good to show face, will let me get over to Smiths in the Gyle and grab Tooth either after work or at lunch.
Popped to the sorting office to pick up Lootcrate Optimus and other associated shite in a box.

Have hit the bit of training at work where nothing else is sinking in because I just want to get started. Only way to learn. Getting impatient to start the job properly.
This is a good problem to have.

Do you open the window first?

Good question. A open window would provide freedom, a closed window would be like banging your head against a brick wall...
...which is a surprisingly familiar feeling.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Start of the day was painful & wobbly, as seems to be the norm. Managed to lead Prayer Meeting OK but did have to go back to bed for an hour or so before Liz & I went out for lunch. Decent Homegroup, nice to see everyone.
On this particular Thursday: Food in, L teaching, J off to college, L going away for 2 days. All sorted, J and I know what we're doing when and meal plans drawn up. Bins out. Start of the new series of Taskmaster tonight and I should, finally, get to watch the animated Web of Fear 3.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray body feels better. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Just got back from a pleasant three nights away in sunny Chepstow with my dad - his first time in a hotel since Before Covid. Good weather, top food, ginormous castle.
Got back to find Dr Strange Epic Vol. 9 awaiting me - thank you, Phil!

Morning All!
It's FRIDAY!
Yesterday: Mixed. Got everything done, L got to where she was staying OK and no real crisis after she left. FF7 Epic turned up :-) But I crashed physically after tea BIG TIME which was dragging my head down. Soon after I'd asked people to pray for me we discovered what was causing my body to behave like that - I'll spare you the details - which was interesting and got me thinking about how I read what my body is telling me, some of which is quite confused at times. Tired rest of evening but not flat out struggling like I had been, Thank You Lord. My left side of my face was a bit fun at times too, with the occasional tooth sinus twang on the right. Didn't get anywhere near the Web of Fear discs!
Today: Friday :-) J's got work to do and he's also popping up the Cake Hole for our lunch. Getting Pizza in for tea. It looks like a quiet day. Moving day for our Neighbours at number 1 - I always find Neighbours changing disconcerting, especially on the noise front, no idea who our new ones are.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Body Improves. Pray for departing & incoming Neighbours. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

First payday since last December! Been on zero income since then and a low point for my dignity during that time (which caused my mental health to crater further) was being refused unemployment benefit despite being signed off sick by GP (and with evidence) and having paid enough national insurance contributions. I helped hundreds of people claim Benefits for 20 years and literally the only person I couldn't get what they were due was me. Not getting the financial help I was entitled to literally pushed me further away from work. I could have been back in employment within 6 months rather than the 9 it took to get my head straight.
Joined during a wage period so it's partial pay but it's enough to pay off everything I owe for things to allow for a fresh start when full pay comes in a month's time.
A good day.
