I like that idea much more than the cards/stickers thing we've had. With an app you can make it language specific without taking up space on the box too. Is this the return of almost proper tech specs? Hmm. Not quite. Daim Choc posted a lot of these and the bios are all just one sentence things. But - it's nice to have some character with the toys.

An app that unlocks information about the toys, the history of the character, access to the transformation instructions, and perhaps even updated with "missions" (either short stories or comics that support the line's fiction, or tasks for the user).
Yes please. Give me an app that isn't a cheap mobile game.
This is also a good way to give kids access to the older characters like Iguanus, as well as supporting new characters.

Yeah, that's the disappointing part for me. Rather than having to squeeze multi-lingual text onto a tiny card back, they now have THE WHOLE INTERWEBS on which to write... and they've still gone with a single sentence. They could at the very least have G1-style text summaries of the characters. Of course, what they could do now is package the toys in alt modes, and put the QR codes on the back of the box. Then, when kids go around the shops they can use their phones (yes, they'll have phones) to scan the codes and read the exciting bio for the character, which will help them decide which one to pick up. It's just a modernisation of what I used to do in Woolworth's back in the day. They could do this. They will not. |

I was going to say. I was thinking that maybe a re-release for Cheetor was a bit much, especially since I'm not convinced he was a top seller anywhere, but Wheeljack really is pushing it. If they're going to be giving us stuff from *Earthrise* again, they could at least give us toys that were hard to get, like the Battlechargers, rather than these shelf-warmers.
Twincast is a massive no-surprise. But if this turns out to be the only way to get Rewind then I shall be cross. But also unsurprised.

Choosing Wheeljack and Arcee the first time in Kingdom was bad enough. Of all the really hard to find toys from ER, those two were not it. ER Wheeljack is still the easiest to find, combined with his netflix redeco. It really doesn't make sense they keep choosing Wheeljack, Arcee, and Starscream repeatedly, when so much of ER got the covid shaft. Whether or not they go this way, I believe the pack in tape was the robot specifically to package Twincast with Flipsides:  It's the only reason it makes any sense to me. Otherwise Steeljaw or Ramhorn would have been a much more obvious choice. |

So how we all enjoying our Iguanuses ?
Figure is superb, love it.
Struggled with the bike to start with: to get the windshield in the right place the head needs to be perfectly straight so that the spikes on the back of the head fit into the slots in the struts connecting the windshield to the body. Likewise there's a sweet spot for the upper arms to sit in when they form the front forks.
Still a potential toy of the year for me. Core is going to have to go some to beat this and I'm not sure any other class is going to get a better success for it's size.

Just seen a full list of upto wave 4 - Hasbro should rename the line from "Legacy" to "repack of the 2019 toyline"

As yet there's no confirmed repack from 2019, just Wheeljack from 2020 and Galvatron, Cheetor, Blaster & Hot Rod from 2021.
The identity of the Soundwave is yet to be confirmed.

I was hoping to maybe pop into town at the week or the weekend to see if FP or A1 had any in, but what with the Conjunx being riddled with Covid we'll not be leaving the house before next week now.
