I don't have a G1 Blitzwing so I've never noticed that. So Hasbro have made a new toy based on an animation model that has a mistake due to a mistransformed toy!?! I like Blitzwing 's sticky out cockpit in tank mode. But a faux sticky out cockpit?! That's... wow. Really weird. Yeah, I mean... I don't mind kibble parts if they're part of, you know, the transformation. And compromises have had to be made because these are, you know, toys. And whilst I'm not fond of, say, the recent Masterpiece Starscream having a faux cockpit on his robot mode chest, I can understand it to an extent because the animation model chest could never match up with an actual, decent-looking alt-mode cockpit. But this... to actually go to the effort and expense of molding whole faux parts to recreate animation and transformation errors, that... that just feels like wasted effort to me. |

Vroom would take less retooling than I thought. He could be done with just a new head (though new shoulders, feet, waist, and thighs would be preferable).
But a more extensive retool would net an amazing Cy-Kill! New head, torso, forearms, shins, and feet.
And for funsies, he's also work really well as a prebeast TM2 Prowl.
