A nice gimmick. Now if only Hasbro remembered that all the toys in the line were meant to work with the gimmick... The only real misfire there so far is them making the Core weapons solid rather than clear |

Legacy Beasts arrived Sunday. These are obviously aimed at me, more obscure to unobtainable BW Characters and yet.... Never liked the Kingdom Scorponok but the bright colours on Sandstorm are trying their best. Nightprowler is a grey Cheetor, looks slightly better in hand but the yellow just sticks out so much. Buzzsaw is a train wreck. Now admittedly I think US BW Buzzsaw is one of the best recolours of all time and I'm a bit particular about the colours after the mess the Japanese made of it. But this .... The yellow is WAAAY off, should be much brighter. Why is yellow so hard to get right on toys? Purple is a shade too dark. Green paint on shoulders isn't opaque enough, the yellow show through. But worst of all the wings..... G1 Buzzsaw has black wings, BW should be green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

What a good friend you are. I was encouraging him with proof it could be done! I also sent him several photos of crucial bits..... like WT* is going on with the arms and the back! It gets easier over time but it was NEVER a toy for Ralph. However because I am a kind friend I have sent chum a little gift that will hopefully make up for the experience...... |

The Legacy Deluxes are all winners. Really strong start for for a wave one.
The weakest link is Kickback, and while he's almost as stupidly simple as the alicon, he's not bad.
If I didn't like Dragstrip an unreasonable amount, Skids would be my favorite.
