You are seeing an image of the Legacy w1 characters. In there are Hot Rod, Blaster, Skywarp and.. Iguanus? All of which were leaked for w1 (Blaster Voyager, others Core) and haven't been shown today - see tmukhub.proboards.com/post/460884/thread and onwards |

Okay so, I'm 100% positive that Arcee's pretool is Cybertron Ransack, with Road Rocket being secondary, and Arcee being the big name to justify it. The wheels on the legs are pretty much Ransack's most iconic feature, and is wrong for Rocket and Arcee. And as for Bulkhead, I said I wanted a Garbage Truck retool, But i didn't know there was already a garbage truck that looks exactly like this Bulkhead:  I mean my god, dude doesn't even need a new head! No one can figure out what Bulkhead's a pretool of... This may be it. |

Arcee, Elita-1, Roadrocket, Energon Arcee, Superlink Paradon Medic & their various repaints, Energon Ransack/Ransack GTS/Ransack Police, T30 Chromia..... I think we could be seeing this mould redone quite a few times..... so it's a good thing it does look quite decent! |

I'm personally hoping for a Flamewar repaint, since she features quite a lot in the Ruckleyverse. Unfortunately Hasbro have never really cared much about that sort of thing, so I'm not holding my breath.
But I do really like that Arcee. We have the original Prime versions, but this one looks nice anyway. There's only one weird thing about her which makes her look not quite right - and it took us a while to put our finger on it, until the conjunx finally realised: She's got a nose!
Dragstrip looks nice - I'm really glad he's not just another slavish adherent to the Sunbow animation model. I'll not be picking him up, mind, because I'm not much fussed about the Stunticons. But I like what they're going for, anyway.
And Kickback exists.

You know what that first wave of Legacy needed? A BW toy just to say "yes we are still doing these despite starting the Prime remakes".
I think Kickback or Arcee are the ones that needed to wait and get bumped by, say, Trantulas

Remember this from the start of the Earthrise thread? They were thinking deluxe Insecticons even then! We have to assume Shrapnel is on the runway somewhere. Runamuck came out in Earthrise, deluxe Gnaw in SS86 (very nce they both are), Shrapnel see above. Which leaves poor Needlenose. Up before the vote twice, and the only one of the Siege vote as yet unmade. Reportedly Hasbo have cooled on the idea of doing one since he's failed to win twice :-( Not his fault, he was just up against better opponents. #NeedlenoseForLegacyII |

I haven't watched all of the livestream yet, still getting caught up after a busy week, but am I right in thinking the 'Evolution' part of the name has disappeared? are we now not in a trilogy, just a subline of indefinite length called 'Legacy'?

All told, legends size figures in the core line are really heavy on the cons. Maybe because originally the cons were larger, so they fit together at the same height, but Megs has most of his crew while Op has the ever helpful Hot Rod.

I do really wish that they'd had time to show us the Core figures on the stream, as well as maybe some of the Studio Series stuff. Well. I mean, they did have the time, they just didn't use it.
Also, what on Earths is "Transformers Generation Ss Core Tf7 86 Ratchet"? That very much seems like someone is hedging their bets...

My secret hope here is that the TF6 Cybertronians don't appeal to me as toys because there suddenly seems to be quite a lot of them coming.

I'll be getting Skids. Might get Drag Strip, coz the CW Stunticons are Not Good.
Kickback depends on if he's a massive improvement over the last set of Insecticons. I don't think he will, but Bombshell can't be much worse, and that's what might sway me.

As Kickback is a deluxe I think we're likely looking at the same kind of improvement the deluxe mini bots had over the previous legends ones. Slightly bigger, definitely more refined.

Thinking about Shockprowl's point, if there are 12 deluxes in that list, is that three waves, or possibly even four if we get the usual repacks mixed in? So no minibots in Legacy for the first year? Disappointing. Put all the most recent versions of the five and six together and you don't have much common ground with them.
