Thinking about Shockprowl's point, if there are 12 deluxes in that list, is that three waves, or possibly even four if we get the usual repacks mixed in? So no minibots in Legacy for the first year? Disappointing. Put all the most recent versions of the five and six together and you don't have much common ground with them. There are four waves with the last wave's contents TBC bar the Stunticons. I don't think everything is on the EAN List There's some strongly rumoured toys, one of which is all but confirmed by the exclusives list

As Kickback is a deluxe I think we're likely looking at the same kind of improvement the deluxe mini bots had over the previous legends ones. Slightly bigger, definitely more refined. That's what I'm afraid of. That and waiting another four years to complete the trio. But if they're as much of an improvement as the new Mini-Autobots are over the older ones, then.... Goddamnit.

Skids has always looked rubbish, I feel this version is like an homage to the original being crap. I love it. Any insecticon I'll have to see side by side so I know which I prefer. Dragstrip looks a definite improvement

I agree. Though CW Menasor is easy to improve upon and my old Skids is generations design and my G1 reissue Skids is not poseable so... I don't know if I can go through collecting Insecticons and Stunticons again (Menasor is a bit wobbly though). I'm still waiting for more Mini-Autobots to come out. Waiting.... Always waiting.

While i love getting a do-over of the stunticons, I do wish it were the constructicons, instead.
And I do hope they're next on the agenda.

PoTP Predacons are good enough for me. CW Devastator could obviously improve Longhaul.

What's wrong with Long Haul?

Post by Toph on Oct 27, 2021 20:58:22 GMT
He sucks. Like the rest of them, except he's the worst one.
The Stunticons may suck at looking like proper updates, but they're still decent stand alone toys and make a decent combiner.
CW Constructicons and PotM Predacons have no redeeming value. They fail on both accounts.

I was hoping for a bit more than 'he sucks'... I've the downsized KO of Devastator, and while Long Hauls head will not come out of his chest, they seem okay to me. Mixmaster is the most egregious one to my eyes, but at standard CW scale they work fine.

He was designed exclusively to be a set of hips, and anything else was tacked on. And he doesn't do his primary job very well as hook doesn't connect very well to him,and neither do mixmaster and scrapper.
With both titan combiners, they chose to make big toys, instead of good toys. They feel like poorly designed knockoffs at that.

Have they done away with the numbers on the boxes (EG WFC-K1) this year?

And other rumors say it's a white Waspinator repaint that's set for the four pack, and Buzzsaw is a selects release.

Post by Philip Ayres on Dec 2, 2021 18:52:24 GMT
Buzzsaw isn't on the leaked Selects list, which we're very confident on due to who it's from, unless it's the mysterious Guard For it not to be it would need to be as toy for towards the end of next year which would be odd to physically seeing it now. The white Waspinator does sound a bit wishful thinking purely based on the one for Botcon a few years back.

It's a shame the actual toy couldn't be this bulky...

Yeah, there's the problem. Toy is too thin, especially on the limbs

This version does look more like TFA's version with TFP's ugly head grafted on.

I think the mold will be a lot better received on it's repaint/retool.

I think the downside of the concept is that it wouldn't have been particularly poseable. Which would certainly have upset some people.

This mold is another instance where I wish they made parts moderately swappable, and thus came with alternate heads, like Marvel Legends do.
Bulkhead would be pretty neat if he came with an additional TFA inspired head, and an AoE Hound inspired head.
