So I was thinking, that given the way Pretenders are being done, and that they inhabit all three main pricepoints, that getting Rhinox heavily retooled into Stranglehold is something that's on the table.

Or, you know, if he'd actually been thinking this through he could've said that this was Minerva from Victory, post-Masterforce where the Transtectors had all gained sentience of their own. That would've been easier. Instead we've got this version which suggest that this Minerva has got a slowly-decomposing human Minerva trapped inside her head, a-la Hi-Q in Action Master Optimus Prime. Which I guess is kinda cool... |

As goofy looking as it is, Elita's vehicle mode is actually pretty fun. And it's a bit more convincing in hand, than in photos.
She's a lot better figure overall, than any of Arcees.

Thunderwing and bludgeon are why the pretenders needed to have deluxe as their base.
A ton of core pretenders will look silly around a random voyager and deluxe, like Thunderwing and bludgeon.
But one or two voyagers mixed in with a bunch of deluxes won't look bad.
Arcee and Iguanus should have had their places swapped. Kickback and Bombburst should have had their places swapped.

Not when you consider the fact that these are the people who are continuing to give us an unending number of Lambros. And it was for a popular character, too! Which would be my usual line of attack also. Except that neither Overlord nor Black Shadow featured in anything produced by Sunbow. Maybe their inclusion was the limit of what could have been allowed, or the final straw...
