The new one doesn't cost a fortune on the second hand market.
I think that's probably a massive check in its favor for those without the original.

He looks rubbish.
Sorry, but next to those other two Primes he is just so very clearly that same toy just wearing parts intended for a better toy. And it's not the Laser Prime design I'm complaining about - I love that design, it's one of my favourites. But this realisation... falls short of expectations. A shame, because that's a very nice head sculpt it's got. But trying to jam the Laser Prime design onto an already-reused Prime body just doesn't work for me. Serious discount only, I fear.

Its maybe not the achievment they were going for, but from behind Laser Prime does look better than the other two.

I was beginning to get drawn into the hype there, but llama has restored balance in my mind. Sale purchase. Maybe. I still think the TR one is a better looking figure but it's just occurred to me being a TR voyager he'll tower over G2 Megs, being a WfC mould.
