That's actually a good sign. If it's not ready to be released and they need more time, then they should take more time. Also this means that the new Nickleodeon series can have all the focus when it airs - provided it's still going to air next year, that is. Although the big question is whether Hasbro have any merch for the show planned, or whether all their efforts were going into RotB toys which now can't be sent to stores...

I know that we had toys for Black Widow and Dune (and others) out on the shelves long before their respective films, because those films were pushed back, but in those instances the toy manufacturer had nothing to do with the production of the films, so if they had the ship dates then they had the ship dates. In this case, though, Hasbro is producing both the toys and the film. Which seems odd that they'd be unable to delay the release of the toys once they knew the film was going to be delayed. Unless the toys have already been promised to distributors, or something...

Dune had toys?
I know Ghostbusters did, but the Afterlife toys seemed all over the place, and their release slowed greatly.

But neither of those things had a full year between the the entire line going out and the movie's release.
I mean this, the entire line will have lived it's entire lifespan by the time the movie is released.

Also this toyline's release has not been officially announced yet. These dates are just what's turned up in store systems, right?

Eternals had Lego and Books this time last year!

The physical markets seem to find it hard to delay their stuff once media moves dates. I suspect it's all connected with dates in diaries, contracts and not wanting to pay for warehousing!
