1) 1984

I've actually owned two of these. The first was from a friend, actually one of the very first TFs I ever played with. That went in the 95 purge and was eventually replaced off eBay a few years back/

2) Robot Masters Ligier

A mould that was crying out for this deco and Robotmasters obliged alongside R-Blade's Hooligan as Jetfire. Shame they dropped the ball on Hoist.

3) Combiner Wars

A recent edition. It's OK, but you feel if they'd made an effort it could have been loads better with a car nose chest.

4) RID Spychanger

Decent Mirage. Mould has never had a full on g1 deco though.

5) Minicon
6) Road Assault Minicon

OK Minicons but they're both retools of pack in Swindle.

Have Owned

1) Machine Wars

Decent toy, but the deco isn't there and too monochrome. Far, far better was to come later. (I think I've owned every version of this mould at some pt: today the aforementioned Ligier, RID Skid Z and the superb car robots oh so close to being Mirage xclear Indy heat survive.

2) Beast Machines

Possibly the best of the early BM basics. Again, it's surprising it's never had a Mirage redeco.

3) RID Mirage GT

The one BM redeco is .... interesting. Not sure what they're going for here, it's more Dragstrip than Mirage,

4) Dimension X Minicon

Thicko here has only just realised that this is an attempt to do a G1 Mirage Minicon! D'oh

5) Wal*Mart Cybertron Minicon

Too much like Minicon Swindle.

6) Energon

Random name reuse Mirage, this toy never jelled with with me.

7) Classics

One of the very, very best Classics updates. Top class toy, really wish I had one now. Could do with standard size hands, a fault it shares with Classics Rodimus, but oh well!

Sine then I have regained the Classics and acquired Siege, Clear Siege, WFC and Earthmode!

It's okay, three of them are 3P and one is the Robot Heroes G2 painted one from Matt. I'll try and get a picture of the gang at some point in the next couple of days.

My spreadsheet says I have nine official Mirages to find, and that's not counting the name reuses in Armada, Energon and Beast Machines, which I'm not as fussed about.
