Morning All!
It's Monday - 2022 Week 2
Yesterday: Two hours lost at the start of the night never helps. Morning was a struggle, especially after I had a bad fall in church. Slept all afternoon and had a relaxing evening in bed watching TV.
Today: A regular Monday. L teaching then out at church. J College. Me leading 10am. Church group leaders meeting on Zoom tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Beginning the second week of my Two-Week holiday from work. After last year, I wanted to take some time off to just reset and deal after everything.
Still off Twitter. Yay.

Well I might just water my cactus.
...
That sounds like a euphemism even though it isn't.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: Worst Mental Health day for a while. Really was difficult looking at something I wanted to do head on and not being able to do it, and that opening up stuff about what I am doing and spending my time & energy on. But as the day went on the head got calmer and, while not at the end of the road, the pieces started to come down in a sensible order.
Today: Leading 8am - perhaps not ideal the day after I had to admit I was doing too much but that's really inspired this morning. J ARC then Climbing. L & I out to lunch - Biplob. Home group tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

So eventful day, not doing the rhyming stuff for obvious reasons;
So today i get all the covid tests out and get my group ready to test (they are a bit reluctant, lots of autistic kids etc) we do our tests as a group so they feel better, all negative bar bloody me!
so I have covid!
7 days isolation and the most frustrating thing is i have no symptoms! im 3 hours in and screwing already lol!!
fun times!

Hope its not too bad for you.
Having said that I think I would have gone mad if I'd had to isolate without symptoms. As it was I was so tired I slept through a lot of mine.

I thought I was past the wave my class had before Christmas, but a couple came back not knowing they were positive and have spread it round a few others. Back up to five off positive, three of whom were positive in class all day Monday before finding out when they tested that evening.
Look on it as a chance to do some of the things you never get round to, Browny.

If your kids are part of the new wave shouldn't they just fade to grey?

Yet again had to push my 2-yearly eye test forwards another month. My eyes are ok so doubt need new prescription but need checked anyway. Been trying to go since October and I need new specs anyway (current lenses and frame are a bit knackered) but I'm not getting into a small room until the covid infection rates drop below 50k a day. -Ralph

Doc', when I had my annual a bit ago the Specsavers guy was PPE'd up to the hilt! I'm talking mask, I'm talking visor, all cleaned before and after.
They were so clean I actually felt... offended.
I was like a Scientology lab or something.

Oh, I know they will. I just think it's a bit suicidal to walk into a small enclosed place when infections are 100-200,000 a day. My wife is high-risk so I fear catching it and passing it on. She was lucky the first time with Covid. Don't want to push my luck.
Re-arranged appt for 3 weeks time when things have hopefully calmed down a tad.
