There was a comment on the FB post saying $9, so maybe £9, or £7.99 if we're lucky? With something like that they want to top out before it reaches 'mum thinks it's too much' in the supermarket. Problem is, prices are all over the place at the moment.

The blind bag aspect of this is confusing - blind bag is cheap, supermarket till pick up on a whim because you don't know what you're getting - a few quid at most. This is a playset with vehicle. Can you sell blind bag toys at £10 and people risk buying them? I think at that point I'd need Ralph's divining skills or the knowledge that there's a convenient code on the wrapper that reveals what's inside. Spend £10 and inevitably get a toy I already have? That's a big ask for a parent in the supermarket with a nagging six year old.

Blind-packed prices don't seem to be much of an issue these days. There's currently a £10 Harry Potter item at £10; a year or two ago there were mystery wands at £15-£20. I think the top-tier LOL products are about £40. Even the smallest collectables are now often £4 or more. And don't forget all those Loot Crate style mystery boxes.
