I'm all for a good action pose, but that lot look like they're doing synchronised squats.

Last night on the call I opened this week's mainline Legacy & Buzzworthy acquisitions.
Today I did the Wreckers
Lots of good stuff in there: Twin Twist looks fab, Bulkhead's deco is much improved and Springer is interesting alongside his Siege version. Hard to say if one or the other is better. How did I not know both guns & both swords could be combined?
Both the two packs are fab: Fossilisers look great if a little loose. Lovely deco on Leadfoot and it's amazing how much of Impactor is new.
Now I just need someone with working fingers to build my iconic hammer. That and more space

I had to explain the iconic Wreckers hammer to Mrs Ralph this afternoon. She did not understand.

Was there ever a TopSpin figure released that wouldn't look out of place alongside the other Wreckers?
I've only seen a Takara Tomy Legends LG66 Targetmaster Topspin Japanese version on eBay, that looks like he's the right scale, but I'm not forking out over £100 for that.

There was the Titans Return topspin that probably pulls just as much on the secondary market.
But so far no Topspin that matches the Wreckers diaclone colored Twintwist. Not even in the rumor mill.
For a while it was speculated there would be a second wave of wreckers, because Topspin, Pyro, Ironfist, Packrat, and Fractyl are all right there.

There was the Titans Return topspin that probably pulls just as much on the secondary market. Does it? Topspin was easy to come by at the time. Twin Twist is in the Unobtanium Wave with Windblade & Misfire, Slugslinger out on his own with a bunch of earlier repacks and, IIRC, a defacto exclusive for someone...

Brainstorm was an exclusive, I think. Didn't get a proper UK release if memory serves.

I know somebody had it at TFN the year it came out, but I wasn't consumed by The Hunger then, so left it be.

It's not even very long since I saw some of those going cheap somewhere. Can't think where any more though. A quick glance at eBay suggests Not There.
It's a nice set.

Is this the Brainstorm / Sentinel / Windblade set? I have one of them that I have for sale, priced quite high on ebay but would be willing to come down quite a bit on for residents of these boards.

I picked it up when A1 Toys was clearancing a lot of stuff cheap. But then it was fairly easy to get hold of because all I had to do was jump on my bike and cycle to the shop.

I got mine from A1, too. Back in the days where there wasn't the customs barrier between the UK and Germany...
