Nightshade is looking rather nice indeed. I could definitely be tempted by them. Might have to keep an eye on HLJ just in case.

Excited to see that Hasbro haven't forgotten about this show - although these releases don't match up with the release date for any of the actual cartoons, so it's still terribly planned.
Anyway, the combiners look like they could be fun - they're actually articulated, and might not suck as badly as Crash Combiners did. Twitch looks a little terrifying, mind you, but it still looks fun. Although they've got the character pairings wrong - it should be Alex that combines with Bumblebee, not Mo! Do these people not actually watch the show?! (Probably not...)

You should watch the show, it's good. And the first 18 episodes are on Netflix and iPlayer now, so you don't even need Paramount+ (except for for the final episodes - for now)!

There's nothing like a company being fully supportive of their own show which was designed to advertise their own toyline. And this is, indeed... It's nice... but no side car? Yep, that's the big problem here. He's got ankle articulation now, which as everyone knows is the most important thing in any toy, but it's come at the cost of the sidecar, which is a key part of his character. The worst thing is that the shield is made to look up like the sidecar has transf- converted, but it doesn't actually transf- convert. A baffling set of decisions, really. |

Comparing this, and the warrior to the animation model, and the warrior is actually a closer match, both in coloration and sculpt.

On the one hand I'm annoyed that they've clearly given up making new Earthspark toys. On the other hand, I liked the look of the original release of this but never got it since it never showed up at UK retail, so this is giving another chance at that.
Nowhere in the UK will carry this toy.
