At least an eleventh look of the toys: news.tfw2005.com/2022/07/23/transformers-earthspark-toyline-additional-official-renders-stock-images-461658I'm liking the look of this line - it looks fun, and definitely like it's going to be occupying the same space as Cyberverse. Literally, in the case of that Skyywarp figure - very surprised to see a mold re-use from a different line in there... Those Tacticons look like they could be dangerous. They don't look like the most detailed figures everywhere, but certainly like ones that I'd get a lot of mileage out of just fiddling with. Although since they'll doubtless retail for at least a tenner I'll be safe, because they don't look worth that. I like the look of that Megatron too, so may end up getting one of him, and likewise Elita-1. But I'm really liking Twitch's design, so that'll be the first one I'll be getting. And, that Deluxe Bumblebee actually looks like a good Bumblebee figure - the first one of this type of Bumblebee that I've looked at and considered picking up. Obviously this is only a small selection of each part of each line, but the same thing happened with the initial Cyberverse reveals, so looking forward to finding out more. Now to hope that somewhere in the UK actually carries this line... |

My only concern about that packaging is whether it'll stand out enough on the shelves to help sell those toys. As it is the colours are very close to recent and current Transformers Generations packaging, and also to the recent MotU CGI series, so I'm not sure they will... I guess time and sales figures will tell.

I liked the Cyberverse line, so I will be giving Earthspark a go. I tend to enjoy the 'actually toys' lines more than the 'adult collectable'ones.
Curious if Earthspark will appear in supermarket toy sections. I do hope so.

Because these are toys, Doctor, TOYS, and as such beneath the interest of serious connoisseurs of adult collectables such as ourselves! But yeah, that would've made more sense. That Shockwave's just a repaint of the Cyberverse Deluxe figure - not that that's particularly an issue for those of us in the UK, since that's the line that Hasbro never bothered to bring here. And that Megatron's a different one to the one we've seen previously (further up the page) - from the look of the photos I'm guessing that this one is bigger? Which is just going to make things confusing. Now the big question is when are they going to arrive in shops? The show's going to start airing in the next couple of weeks, so it'd be a good idea to get the merch out soon, wouldn't it..? But then, what do I know of anything... |
