2023 Run #71.
The skies were clear when I set out.
Half-way round the route the sky went dark quickly and the heavens opened with such ferocity it was difficult to see through the spray bouncing off the pavement. Soaked through to the skin.
The rain stopped just as I got home, of course. Not happy.

2023 Run #75: half-marathon achieved.
Bitter temperatures and a lingering heavy cold did not help but I made it all the way round without stopping or walking. Raised a few hundred quid for Cancer Research.
A slow time, but I really don't care. The aim was to complete the course.
Every part of my body hurts.

Death to the four separate pricks who decided to cycle directly *into* an oncoming marathon of knackered people. Entitled arseholes. I shouted my head off at them for their lack of respect. The roads were closed for the event, dickheads!
Also I did tell the spectator twat who kept setting off his very loud air horn right next to runners to go **** ********.
Otherwise, a well behaved event considering the thousands of folk about. Lots of folk shouting encouragement, which really did help a lot.
