Morning All!
It's Monday - 2023 Week 9
Yesterday: Not a good day, after just 3 1/2 hours sleep it was never going to be great. Made it through day..... just
Major panic mid morning when it seemed I'd destroyed the wife's laptop by plugging and HDMI lead in. Thankfully the all purpose dutchman managed to bring it back life!
EIGHT hours sleep, Thank You Lord! Wobbly this morning but not knackered out the gate.
Today: Leading 8am and 10am. J college early. L due home afternoon.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Second day that I've managed the whole morning up and dressed, after spending last week flat on my back with flu or something. Feeling greatly improved, thinking I might be able to go back to work tomorrow. Which might help deal with the boredom that is starting to set in currently...

First day back at work since last Monday today. Passed...as a Grammaton Cleric put it "not 'without incident' ". Ended up investigating something that is going to take some thought to raise a call with the relevant parties about. A metadata record that was a fused Katamari ball of information regarding five distinct books, instead if representing a single book... Oiy, welcome back!
But apart from that it could have gone a lot worse. Now all I have to do is nursemaid the download of the update for Year Five(?) of Destiny 2 so that I can start playing the new years content. 6.7gb of 87gb down so far... (I miss the days when it was possible to buy PC games on discs...)

Morning All!
It's SATURDAY !!!!
Yesterday: Physical Slog again. Quite a bit of pain and moved badly. Didn't get off to sleep as early as I'd like in the afternoon thanks to the heating engineer showing up v late.... and then got woken up a little early. Still decent evening watching music programs on TV.
Decent night's sleep. Awake just before when I'd get up weekdays so no lie in but that might not be a bad thing today...
Today: Lunch out with Liz and Martin, making my own way back so Liz can go on elsewhere. Hopefully Zoom Mum, TMUK Zoom tonight.

All my life, "Smiths" has always meant WH Smith's the newsagents. Every town I've lived in has had a WH Smith's.
But you lot, you lot have gradually made me come to believe there is now a chain of toy shops called Smyths, even though I've never seen one myself, including in Swindon, and whenever one of you lot says "Smiths" you mean "Smyths". And now today, you say you're going to "Smiths" and I'm proud of myself for knowing you really mean this toy shop, "Smyths"... but you're telling me you meant WH Smith's???
What a mean trick! You've set my progress back years today, Phil.
NEW LAW. Whenever anyone speaks the name of Smyths the toy shop in my presence, they must pronounce it "Smythes".
