Just imagine if they do a Missing Link...Hot Rod. -Ralph I would be on that in a friggin' heartbeat. Hotrod had my favorite vehicle mode in the entire line, and maybe the entire franchise. And not a single update has ever recaptured what i loved so much about it. The only thing that'd make the original hotrod toy better is if it could do more than move only at the elbows. |

In order to keep momentum up at minimal cost I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ultra Magnus as a cab-only release soon.
Soundwave seems like low-hanging fruit, he should be relatively straightforward to make highly posable I’d’ve thought, and he’s iconic enough.
I’d love to see them have a go at mini-bots, though agree it would be a bit of a feat of engineering. Maybe just Bumblebee and Cliffjumper as the two best-known, and to get the most out of shared engineering?
I’d also love to see them go the MP route and announce Sideswipe next. One, because it’s a beautiful toy that deserves it, and two, because I’d revel in schadenfreude at the howls of outrage in the mainstream online fandom.

Also as with regular legends vs leader class, I wouldnt expect the same level of articulation as Prime got. Bumblebee has top tier name recognition, but also the engineering for CJ, Hubcap and bumper and all their repaints. I have my doubts on Starscream. Missing links is (so far) about looking exactly like the originals. Thats a lot easier to do when the originals have a fairly decently proportioned robot mode. Im not sure where you put a knee on Starscream that doesnt make it look a lot less like the original that I would like. Not to mention the forearms. |

I mean they probably will do Starscream, I just hope it down the line. I'd like to see a run of updates that can stick really closely to the originals before the concept starts being compromised.
Soundwave has to be the obvious Decepticon. And that should bring at least one tape. (And if they can do tapes they can do Bees. )
After that a bunch of Autobot cars would be good shouts, but for me the obvious choice would be Grimlock ( I know, I know, not big in Japan or whatever, but) its been 30 years since the original was available and the SS86 mould has shown you can repaint the character however you want and it will sell.
