Shard is absolutely hilarious. I also love the colours on them. I haven't felt any interest in the other rock types, but Shard at least has my attention.

Shard has extremely strong Waspinator vibes.
So much so that when i looked at the notification screen on my phone when my friend texted this to me, I thought he was showing me a new 3p prebeast waspinator, until i was able to open my texts.

Im getting Movie Preview Prime and Starscream vibes.
Particularly the translucent version of Prime due to the colour.

That it's a flying thing has nothing to do with it? Nope. Whilst I like helicopters they aren't fixed wing aircraft so they don't really "speak" to me in quite the same way. I like them, but only in the way I like some ships, cars, trains. I'm not quite as attached to them as I am 'planes, cats, dogs, et al... Actually it is the colours on Shard that have really caught my eye - the previous Rocktobots have looked very drab and devoid of visual interest. Rather *bleh*. Shard has an interesting colour layout going on, and some brighter colours which make their details pop rather nicely. Karl

I now feel we need an internet meme of a fixed wing flying dog being piloted by a cat, just to see what this does to Karl.

That rock helicopter thing looks like it's made from snot, not rocks, so I shall call it the Snotcopter.

I'm not interested in these Rock Lord toys. Partly because I wasn't into the originals but more because they don't turn into rocks! Give me a pebble, not a vehicle! That said, with a little retooling, Shard would make a nice Bayverse protoform.

Or rock monsters.
Or at least be triple changers with a rock mode.

They aren't quite what I wanted (turn into just rocks) but I've been asking for new characters, mad bastard stuff and Rock Lords so I will put my money where my mouth is.

I can't quite wrap my head around the rockizers, from a fictional standpoint, like I could the fossilizers. As toys, I like them better than any -izer to date. The two so far are so much sturdier than any other -izer to date.
The only thing that keeps me from being excited about them, is that I just can't figure them out.

Transformed Magneous tonight, generally OK, but folding the front wheel out into place took some excessive force.

Busy morning tidying up the leaks thread with Studio Series Shockwave, United Chomia and Infernac Shard all being found overnight
All was going well till I remembered we had this thread for the Infernac toys and I had to stop, divide the official images from last night in two and do some judicious editing of the leak posts for Chromia/Shard!
And then I found some of the Chromia posts had gone in the wrong thread!

Hopefully something new. It would be a shame if there are only three rock moulds.

There were 2 deluxe Junkion moulds late year, one with some remoulding.
2 Fossilisers, one of which was extensively remoulded.
2 Micomaster base moulds

Nucleous.... new mould or retool one of the previous two, probably Magneous? Definitely a nuclear themed magneous. That's the mold they're gonna use to death.

At this point I must echo my esteemed colleague Andu's cry that it should be ****** called ULTRA MAGNEUS.

Then he should come with an rockizer trailer that becomes his own armor to then become Ultra Magneous
