30th Airtight is really good; and the club just did Tiger Force Airtight in their subscription line.
Wouldn't mind Footloose but he goes for crazy money last I looked.

Take care of your sorrows by dancing to the 'Footloose' dance movie soundtrack. Original or remake.

Oh, original. Must be the original.

I can't watch the original anymore due to having those shitty Kevin Bacon phone ads in front of every cinema visit for two years now. I just can't watch anything with him in it!

Karlos! I'm sorry, I missed this completely. Looking very nice indeed sir! Well done! Ta. She is coming together slowly. I wasn't sure what to do with the moulded "widow's bite" at her wrists, but in the end they work nicely as rolled cuffs once they were given a coat of desert tan. I think that the outfit looks a little plain at the moment though. I think that perhaps I need to source a backpack or something so that the straps can break up the lined a bit. I am very happy with the way the hair turned out - I think I got that "Dyed or natural?" uncertainty I was looking for. Next step is to get a suitable backpack, and source appropriate armament for her. Karl

For a moment I thought it might instead mean the FP was about to be an ex convention organiser. Sadly it seems not.

The fact that the design team has been dispersed to other brands does suggest that not only is Joe not a Core Brand (in Hasbro's internal structural terms) - which I don't think it has been for a while, but that it may very well be a ex-brand. For me the most telling thing is that they are rumoured to be finalising the licensing of it to Amazon's Kindle Grounds fanfic-for-profit platform. Sure, Kindle Grounds is mainly a method for Amazon to make money out of fanfiction authors but it does make me think that Hasbro are looking at ringing the drops of money from Joe that they can get at without actually putting any money in themselves.

Well. I'd better find a 25th Bazooka soonish then, hadn't I HASBRO?! If you're gonna cancel the line you #*^@£$@&$£*!@#&$#*@!#£@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I moved on my 25th Bazooka when I had a major cull a few years ago. I now realise that was a BIG mistake and he is one of the figures I should have held onto! GGGAAAAGGGHHH!!!! One of the very few times I've made a 'Moving-On' mistake like that. I've realised I'm all about the UK '85ers, you see, with a team of the US '84s as well. Oh and my COBRA ARMY of course!

Hmmm... My recent realisation that I should NOT have moved on my 25th Bazooka, and my burning even desperate need for the 25th/30th Footloose, has made me think about what I find nostalgic about Action Force/GI Joe. Much of my Transformers, Marvel and Star Wars collecting is heavily nostalgia based. And I've recently realised the same is true of Action Force. Don't know why it didn't occure to me before!!! Anywho... the '84(?) crew of Duke lead figures is fairly nostalgic, but the '85 Flint lead line-up is very nostalgic to me. Very nostalgic indeed.
What AF/Joe is nosalgic to others, I wonder?
Not sure what-if-any vehicles are nostalgic to me....
Apart from the H.I.S.S. Tank of course.

FOR THE BLOOD OF THE BARON!!!! (or whatever it was they used to say)
Red Shadows are nostagic to me a tad also. But it's more 'rectonic' nostslgia. I remember them clearly, but didn't appreciate them at the time, where as now I do. I'd love a small 25th/30th Red Shadow army.

"BLOOD FOR THE BARON! BLOOD!". Is, I believe what you are looking for. Most of the Action Force toys I had as a youngster were from that era. And a large percentage of them were SAS Force. It was the eighties and there hadn't been as much written about DEVGRU, GSG9 and Delta, but the SAS were British and therefore clearly the toughest guys on the planet and the most qualified to go after ruthless Mastermind Baron Ironblood and his fanatical Red Shadows...
I ended up with a four man SAS Force op- team with Q-Force backup all reporting to the Z-Force commander who was the ranking officer, in pursuit of Ironblood, a handful of Red Shadows and the traitorous Black Major.

"Blood for The Baron!" Of course!
Great GREAT range of toys. Between us my brother and I had a good selection. Including the cardboard HQ base, which I still have. Superb toys. Fond memories of the Shadow Track in particular.
