Looks like it, unless I've become horribly confused.

It is. I was just introducing the action feature to those of us who were not shooting it round the room on Friday night !

Sounds like another opportunity for me to send things whizzing past the Piglet's head! She's bigger now, she can dodge 'em. FIREINTHEHOLE!

Super-cheap Nightbird is here! -Ralph Excellent! With that kind of technology Cobra will surely conquer the world.... Or maybe your living room..... the dinner table.......at least surely escape from Gi Joe....for a while.....a few minutes.... Karl

It is funny, I kept forgetting how large and chunky the Nightbird toy is, until it arrived at least. I also didn't realise that it had sounds as well as lights until I actually put the batteries in and was testing the dakka. (I didn't really pay much attention to what it said on the box, it was merely an impediment to getting at the 'planey goodness inside).
At the moment I have grudgingly permitted the Aero-Viper to pilot it, but I doubt that will last. I'm sure I can find a more worthy person to sit in the seat.

Rex "The Doctor" Lewis for £4 in TRU

TRU has loads of Joe stuff reduced, including some vehicles I had not seen at retail before. Was tempted by the Cobra Crimson Hydra (IIRC) and the helicopter with Wild Bill but thought I'd leave them until another day. Had some Lego things to pick up and didn't want to be encumbered with too many boxes today.

I read elsewhere that the weapons system on the new hiss are modular and can be exchanged for many of the obscenely huge guns packed with the ROC figures. Desire to own growing. And the mech suits too. In related news I've secured The Black Serpent Armour for £12. A prototype for the Pretenders if I ever saw one.

I was tempted as I could see Star Dub potential, but could not justify it at in current budget. I also try not to give FPE my money as they openly discrimate against disabled people.

Last November, I was browsing when a chap who was unsteady on his feet and required aids to walk was in. He bumped into shelves a few times as a result of his walking issues so the staff were shouting at him across the store that he was stealing things (he wasn't). The chap opened his wallet to show that he had plenty of money on him so had no reason to steal and he was looking for a present for his daughter but they kept having a go at him. He pointed out they could call the police if they wanted to, but they kept at it. After he gave up defending himself and left the store the staff very loudly were joking to each other in front of customers, parodying the man's speech and indicating that of course he was a thief.
They don't call able bodied people thieves.
So they don't get my money. One in a blue moon I pop in to browse but not to buy. I get my comics from online stores instead or from FPG when I'm in Glasgow.

Multi posting, anyone know a good Action Force/GiJoe identification website? I just bought about 15 figures this morning and a load of weapons and need help. Besides vaguely recognisig a few all I know is that they are 80s and early 90 and two have cool voice boxes on their backs.

ASDA are now selling Rise of Cobra figures at £1.99 each. That's half the clearance price at Entertainer.
