Forgot to say that the other day I spotted ROC in Poundstretcher for the first time. Couple of figures I had not seen before: a jungle Ripcord and Artic Assault (I think) Storm Shadow. £3.

ooooh. wave 5 ROC. Not UK distributed.
If you see City Strike Snake Eyes, from the same wave, buy on sight cos it's great and packed with gear
The Desert Viper is in the same wave. If they have any carryovwer from the previous wave I want Charbroil.

I saw no Charbroil in the two local stores. I shall hop on a bus and check the one at Fort Kinnaird.

I have seen none in the 3 stores I have checked. One more to check tomorrow. The only City Strike Figure I saw was Duke.

I saw the Desert Viper in Poundstretchers this weekend. Didn't buy him but I did notice that he was loaded with extra gear, specifically that for some reason he has a couple of hatchets in there, which I supposed are useful when Desert Viper gets tasked to make up the fire on the annual Cobra corporate camping retreat.....
Karl (There was a City Strike Duke as well which I wasn't in the slightest tempted by despite all the extra gear, because....well.....movie duke.....)

Ha! I had to get another Rippersnapper for Piglet! She calls him 'Swim-tim'! Her one I got without backpack- Piglet noticed and was not happy. Now my Swim-tim has no backpack.

Has a toyline for Renegades surfaced yet?
For the first time ever I've really gotten into something GI Joe related.

I have checked 4 Poundstretchers so far and not found any more City Strike Snake Eyes other than the one I bought. So I would say if anyone wants one, buy it on sight. It's only £3 anyway.

I will second this opinion. Best ROC figure.
You also want the PIT Commando, Torpedo & Shipwreck

Now the run has been assembled and other stuff has been cleared from the reading pile, the time to properly read through Action Force Weekly has begun though there were shouts of rage when I found #5 had several pages ripped out! Bloomin' lying ebay seller! Cheap* replacement found on the ebay. Hopefully mine in 9 days. -Ralph *Action Force Weekly issues are extremely cheap indeed so no sweat. In the Parcel of Tomrent was a Battle Action Force 1986 annual. This is for the Action Force period when we got the GI Joe figures on the orange cards with a few notable absentees. This annual has a strip in featuring one of them! Yup an 85 era Action Force strip featuring Snake Eyes who was never made as an Action Force figure at the time. Did they plan to introduce him the next year? Snake Eyes was renamed & used as a sas Driver in the 83 era Action Force and his second version appears in the 1987 era Action Force (the one using the GI Joe card artwork) but tis is the only time I've ever seen any hint at an 85 era Snake Eyes. Properly characterised too: silent, escapes a burning jet and kills lots of Cobras :-)
