I suppose given TR is the focus that celebrating the movie had to fall to the platinum line, but flipping heck, these are rubbish releases for the greatest film ever made.
Not one G1 reissue?! Glad I've sorted my originals.

Titanium rodimus wasnt terible, if this version was all plastic it might actually work better.

I'm all over sweeps. But I won't touch anything that thinks using a titanium is acceptible behavior, with a ten foot pole. Hotrod would have made so much more sense for that set, than the junkion.

For my money the United version is better than the Henkei one, more silver, less red, but both are £££ now. I think I like the red. However, the painted face and plain helmet is pretty horrid. So yeah, United it is.

Generation, going by what's in the other boxes and that one supposedly has the Devcon head!
Is Generation Scourge the toy with the most heads?

And pairing it up with Titanium Rodimus....THE EVIL...THE INFINITE EEEEEEVILLLLLL.,, *writhes in chair* Beyond good, beyond evil, beyond even the sickest imagination... Whilst I'm disappointed that they didn't use Cloud Rodimus in that vs. set (which was a great idea), I'm intrigued by the idea that they're using the Titanium mold. Especially if it's plastic, and thus not fragile as fuck. And I'll have to agree with Phil - the Titanium Magnus is really nice. But again, would be better in all-plastic and tighter. These are some batshit choices. I kinda approve from that point of view...

Perceptor, Arcee, (gen) Blurr, Springer... Hell, even classics deluxe optimus in white as Ultra Magnus. Since those are the characters that actually fought against the junkions.

I'd be delighted if they re-released the 2010 Redeco.

Glad it's not Cloud Rodimus they used as well! Andy

Titanium Rodimus was okay. He had his faults (big hollow body, back fin placement in vehicle mode) but I could forgive it as the die-cast made it chunky. Not sure how I'll feel about an all-plastic version (assuming what this is)

But for most of the titaniums the metal seemed to be to heavy for the designs causing loose and limp looking toys, chuck in the terrible paint chipping and I'm at least curious about how an all plastic version would compare.

True. Rodimus seemed to do better than most out of it.
I still think the best Titanium was the Fallen. Only one I regret selling. Wouldn't mind a rerelease of that one!

Oooh, good shout given Trypticon came out. Love Armada Unicron. There's a toy that would benefit from an upscaled knock off.

If they would just remove the chest missile and remould the chest for movie accuracy.

The chest missile is terrible. It never works properly. It's violent when it does work though, I nearly lost an eye.

I think I took 2 back before I realised they were all messed up and just removed the missile, though the one I stuck with was nowhere near as bad as the first two.

I had one of the hairfire trigger original release Armada Unicrons. My bonus for being a supporter of Hasbro quality! I've got one of those. Reseting that missile and keeping the door shut was like playing buckaroo! Oh I'd totally forgotten that bit. Happy days.

I remember those days! Caaaaarefully trying to click the missile and door shut so it doen't pop out, carefully place it on the shelf so it doesn't activate, tiptoe across the room, cough and have the missile shoot you in the eye.
