I do hope so. I regret passing on that back in the day.

Yeah, but it'll be mental money again. If this is this year's Trypticon it'll be £140 at least, which makes it so hard to justify.

If I didn't have these five molds as these five characters already, I think I would prefer these.

I like it, because I think it works well with the more muted palettes. Blurr's the standout for me, though.

Och, up yours Hasbro. That's going to cost me a fortune.

Och, up yours Hasbro. That's going to cost me a fortune. Given the price of their 3 deluxe sets at like £65 or so, I'm betting this will be something nuts like £150-£200? I'm sure it will be meeting the bargain bin soon enough!

I don't know about over there, but here Platinum releases through Target aren't quite as insanely stupidly expensive as TRU. But that said, I'd be pleasantly surprised were this under $200usd, and shocked if it were lower than $150.

So we have another opportunity for Ralph to eat his hat. Andy Unlikely. I never see these Platinum sets at UK retail so I will never see this. I never saw a CW Magnus in a shop. So no hat eating opportunities. That set does look nice though. And it has the poster! -Ralph

We'll just have to drag you to A1 Toys at some point then, Doc. ;-)
And, that's a fantastic set. Since I already have a Magnus, Arcee and a Cloud Rodimus (yes I know, shut up), and since the Takara Headmaster Blurr looks rather lovely, I think I'll be passing on that. Still, a lovely set, though, with some very nice decos.

Same here. It's a beautiful looking set of movie figures but the only one I'd want is Kup. All told the platinum line is doing a good job of covering all the movie bases. I remember making a list a while ago of the main movie characters and who was getting a run out as a figure this year. I think at the time Kup was the only one missing.

Found this picture while looking for comparisons between Takara and Hasbro Blurr. I think every character in this picture, apart from Unicron, has been part of a Platinum release or Titans Return announcement recently. Coincidence with it being a movie get together or biggest hint yet that the Armada Unicron rerelease is happening?

With seibertron's watermark on it, it seems more like something awesome a fan put together. Completely and beyond awesome, though!

Simply because I don't have that Rodimus mold, if it was thirty quid for the pack I'd get it. As it is, it'll be a hundred quid or something daft, so I'll probably pass.
That said though, just look at how reduced the AoE two-packs ended up getting in TRU and Tesco. We can but hope... Although they didn't also come with the Platinum-obligatory 200% mark-up...

That Rodimus mold does look like fun. I've got the Galvatron already so I'll wait for it to be reduced as well.
