The Fourteenth's last/not last words 'It's time' were predictable I thought, but in this situation entirely rubbish. How was it time? He was in the middle of a battle with a god-like entity intent on wreaking havoc on Earth. Being shot to death in the middle of that battle is in no way 'time' to go. A morose, self-indulgent lip-wobbling 'it's time' in the wake of resolving why 'this face' came back, yes, but not before you've actually beaten the bad guy. I actually kind of thought that it came across as the Fourteenth knew that he didn't have a hope of beating the Toymaker and had made it that far on pure luck, and that the luck tank was dry. SO he figured that the inevitable had happened and it was time for him to step aside and hope that a new Doctor, with a new perspective, would be able to see a solution that he hadn't. Which, essentially is what happened - it is just that they saw the solution at the same moment. After all, they are both Timelords, and more importantly both Doctors "In many ways, we have the same mind". Also, "Allon" bloody "zee" were his last words - as Ralph rightfully observes. If rubbish final words is the issue then surely that is far more aggravating! Karl

"I hope they don't have to bring me back again the save the series! NNNNGGGHHHHHHH!!!" (The 'NNNNGGGHHHHHH' is the noise he makes as he regenerates.) If you listen closely, he does actually make a faint 'NNNNGGGHHHHHH'. So technically 'NNNNGGGHHHHHH' was his last word, 'cos I'm sure it must be a word in some language.

Tell ya sumat, Romana's multi-faced/bodied regeneration belongs in the same camp as bi-generation.
