Have they got a catchup service? Yes. -Ralph

There is a catch-up service but it's very primitive. It's supposed to work off the red button but it doesn't for me. The alternative is a website that allows you to play some stuff from the previous week. www.tptvencore.co.uk/Most stuff goes on it for 7 days after broadcast (licences permitting). Brilliant service. I use it a lot. No fee to access and adverts are minimal. They also bung lots of obscure stuff on there that isn't on the council TV channel. Been watching Enemy at the Door on it. -Ralph

S2 Ep 12 of THE BROTHERS follows directly on from the last scene of ep 11. Literally no break in the action...and yet several characters suddenly have much longer hair! Or entirely new hair tyles! The Second Ted has even changed his type of clothing! He never wore a cravat before!
Further proof that this show is another front in The Time War!!!

I do like how each car scene is brought to you via the fuzzy magic of CSO.
Glyn Owen's unique pronunciation of 'Capone' is a hoot: 'Car-ponnn-AY!'.
You can tell John Thaw really enjoys roughing people up and punching fools.
This is my no stretch of the imagination a forgotten classic but it's entertaining.

That's season 2 of THE BROTHERS. Like the end of S1, the last episode could also have functioned as a series finale but it's not over yet! S3 starts next week!
More 1970's hauliage business board room action to come!

Lalla Ward and Jim Norton in this week's VAN DER VALK!!! Very stylish and unusual direction in this episode.
I also enjoyed some of the shots in an art gallery being brought to us by the magic of CSO.
What a great show.

SPACE PATROL has been on my list of shows to see but never got round to it. Hooray for TPTV! -Ralph Surprised by the very high production values for the time. I was expecting sub-Anderson quality in that respect, but it's not. The stories and characters leave me cold though. -Ralph

The show has suddenly changed! Van Der Valk now lives in a different house and works in a different police station. His wife has now regenerated into a crap actor and his boss is now Nigel Stock (TV's most boring actor). His sidekick has vanished and there is now a terrible incidental score. It all feels glossier and that was the first crap script. Not happy! Humph! It's been Friebergered*!!! -Ralph *No he isn't working on it but it has that feel now.

Nigel Stock is not BORING. Nigel Stock is Professor Magnus Carter of the SPACE FORCE, one of the finest radio productions ever made.
