Not sure about all that white paint though.
He's going to look a bit odd next to all the silver and black of the other four chunky Dinobots.

I think this may have killed Shockers.
Swoop has now been up for an entire day, and yet we have radio silence.
The shock of finally seeing Swoop may have been far too much for his heart to handle!

Aa I have Fanstoys Swoop in my Dinobot display, I'm probably spoilt, but those wings just don't look big enough.
But still a nice figure and great to see all five are now completed in SS86.

Yes. On a leader that will have a robot mode shorter than the others, whopper wings would be nice.
Still, the Dinobot Road nears completion. This means Pinwig will then have to commence THE OPENING.

Slag's sword always has been a bit rubbish compared to the others. Hit something hard with that and it would snap off at the hilt.

With the exception of one Gen Selects POTP repaint with notoriously terrible QC, literally almost every single swoop toy is animation/diaclone blue.

This...is pretty much what I expected to be honest. I'm a bit miffed that they have included a spare sword instead of giving Swoop his sidearm, but I didn't really expect that they would given the tight focus on achieving Movie accuracy of this line. This doesn't look like it is as aesthetically pleasing as the POTP version - a bit chunkier and squarer than that, more so that I really like the idea of Swoop being. I prefer the original aesthetic, which the POTP version was closer to. But I was resigned to knowing that SS86 wasn't going to do that either so...yeah...
If I'd managed to snag the Core class Swoop I would probably skip this, but as I don't have that one I'll probably pick this up later in the year, he can join my other five dinobot's and their mate Centurion and job's a good'un.

Shirley they'll be a red chested version.
So, which to go for? Blue or red?
Realistically speaking I'm going to get the blue ASAP, as soon as its released, but blue does stand-out next to the others.
Or does it... maybe it doesn't...
But this needs to be considered.
Youngest wants blue, but she's a Sunbow junkie.
And no, I'm not crazy like you guys and I won't be buying two versions!
