Okay, different approach. Forget everything.
Because there are more of some groups of toys than others, Phil has come up with a cycle to go through them all so they finish at the same time. He's doing it like this:
1. Minibot 2. UK 84 released car 3. Decepticon cassette pack 4. US only 84 released car 5. Minibot 6. UK 84 released car 7. Decepticon Jet 8. US only 84 released car
After week 8 we go back to one and start again, unless he wants to slip in one of the leaders. You can see from the cycle that it repeats within itself, except for the decepticons, which alternate between cassettes and jets. That's the A or B part. Weeks three and seven are always decepticons, but they alternate between the two types.

Well you haven't done Prowl yet, which is a pretty big problem. Easily solved though.

I made a similar fairly simple list of these guys for my university project. Grouped by year, then faction, then vaguely alphabetically. Job done.

OK..... Extend your thinking. What problem do I hit and how did I solve it? This is not a post for Ralph. Well the first problem was that there are more cars than anything else, but it's almost a neat fit - 6x minibots 11x cars 3x tape sets including Soundwave 3x jets 2x leaders So the pattern will have six cycles: 6x minibots 6x UK released cars 6x Decepticons A/B 5x US released cars So at the end of the third cycle you put in Optimus as an extra fifth week because he was UK released and Megatron just goes in place of the missing sixth US released car because that's the end anyway. It works quite neatly. However... Another option would be to include Bumblejumper as a bonus non-UK released car at the end even though he's a minibot and not a large car, that would preserve the pattern. Or knowing you there's a chance that sixth week 4 slot could be Time Warrior. I'm also going to hazard a guess that after this cycle is complete there'll be another A/B six weeks for the Omnibots and Powerdashers. You like things neat though, there has to be a reason why you started this on April 1st. If we go as outlined above that's a 32 week run in all, which I was assuming would take us until the last week of the year, but from April 1st to Dec 31st there are 39 weeks, so it doesn't quite fit.

Yay, Brawn! Proper Brawn, too - as featured in The Enemy Within. Which I think is the sole reason why I love this character. Although the toy design is pretty great, too, with his classic Cylon-esque face and his clamps - he certainly looks like an Alien Robot, and not some guy who turns into a car, as his animation model does. A proper classic.
I didn't manage to get a Brawn back in the day, though - I had to settle for a consolation prize of an Outback. It wasn't until the release of his keychain incarnation that I was able to get one. Worth the wait, though.

Brawn isn't a great toy really, but I have a lot of love for it. Mad claws, great robot face, long legs but such crappy feet. Great jeep though. Great character, obviously used with great effect in Enemy Within but never again... I can't remember the next time he got more than a couple of lines... wasn't he seen decorating a christmas tree at some point? perhaps got smacked down by a time traveller in Target? I think I remember him getting zapped by Starscream during the Underbase fiasco? I definitely had a Brawn at some point in my childhood but I can only remember him in pieces. Where did he come from? How did he get so mangled? I've got a nice one these days, and a japanese reissue that come in a little box, but i don;t know where that is. also, gong

BRAWWWNNN!!!!! MY (JOINT) FIRST TRANSFORMER!!!
Quite an awkward toy in many respects, but fun and interesting, and a great face sculpt that I really wish had made it to the animation model.
Very interesting numbers. Only a 3 for intelligence. Yikes. Not many approach that, couple of Dinobots, Blot. And the "second strongest Autobot" is a Mini-Autobot! Quite a statement, and a little unwise perhaps to make such a claim so early in the life of the franchise. For a while it freaked child-me out a little, being a Techspecs nerd from the very off. Because it meant that no other Autobot could be a 9 in strength!
But I love Brawn! Great character. Really stands out. "Mushy, but true." Always felt he was looking out for Bumblebee.
Unceremoniously and somewhat ridiculously slaughtered at the start of 'The Movie' which was a sad twist in the character's story. A character who has served Transformers so well; and continues to do so.

Re. Tech Specs, I've always assumed that the ratings and claims (such as second strongest Autobot in Brawn's case) are an average between the original ark crew and would have been adjusted as other Transformers appeared on the scene.
I wonder who compiles these in fiction? Probably Rapido, given his stats...

Iron Fist? Do either side have a statistician? I know Prowl is strategy rather than statistics, but I'd have thought his role would mean maintaining an internal database of Transformer abilities and skills would be essential in forming away teams for missions. He needs to know his crew inside out for the most effective deployment.

I wonder who compiles these in fiction? Probably Rapido, given his stats... Apart from the Headmasters, I kind of always assumed that they were an "out of fiction" thing, in the same way that the profiles were compiled from the perspective of an uninvolved narrator who was explaining the world of The Transformers to us, the on-looking kids. So I never considered the possibility of an "in-universe" compiler at all until you mentioned it Matt. What was supposed to be going on with the bar-graphs on the torso's of the Headmasters I'll admit I never really got my head around. Karl

Teletran 2 also had files on Transformers abilities and stats I now recall. And it was kind enough to share these top secret files with the fourth wall after each day's events.
