Current DWM reveals the line up for Cuddly Colin's 'missing season 23' audio plays. Looks good. One is based off a PJ Hammond outline. Hurrah.
Elsewhere, Christopher Bidmead is an insufferable prick as always.
I feel the urge to fill in the big series survey. Back in 1998 when this was last done The Twin Dilemma got the wooden spoon. I must do my bit to keep Colin off the bottom! Genesis of the Daleks won.

Survey you say. I may have to pick this up. I won't be voting Twin Dilema bottom on account of the fact I haven't seen it yet.

Yup.
Does he make some reasonable points RE Rusty D though ?

There are a few reasonable points in there, but drowned out by cheap invective and pomposity.

Made a trip to Glasgow for the new DWM Special, advertised as coming out today. But could not find it anywhere. Was not best pleased. So went to cinema instead.

Picked up the DWM 'Golden Moments' special yesterday. It's rather nice. Makes me want to re-watch some stories. You get a hell of a lot of reading for your money.

Finished the DWM Golden Moments special earlier. What a lovely magazine, one of the best ever written regarding our favourite outer space and time show. An interesting new look at it and makes me want to dig out some favourite stories for a re-watch and to re-evaluate some others. Good stuff.

New DWM is a goody. Big article on regeneration. The cover (update of #62, iirc) with all 11 Doctors on it makes me ridiculously happy in a very fannish way.

A request: this week's DWM has the results of the readers poll: re rating the 200 TV stories. If anyone nets a copy early and wants to talk about it, please use spoiler tags. I wish to be surprised! Then probably shake my fist that THE TRIAL OF A TIME LORD is not number 1!

IIRC the last urvey of this type circa 97 had either TIMELASH or THE TWIN DILEMMA at the bottom. I forget which one. GENESIS OF THE DALEKS was top dog.
I have dug out my photocopy of my form to compare and contrast!

I shall try to find an Eccels cover! EDIT: Beware! The top 10 has leaked online! Luckily, I managed to avert my eyes. -Ralph

RE: The 'mighty 200' readers poll.
Quite a surprise to see the 2005-2009 stories spread quite evenly throughout the field. I had expected them to bottleneck at the top of the chart. Not happy to see Cuddly Colin get the wooden spoon again. Can't argue with Androzani getting the top spot though.
