6th use of Kingdom Airazor? I didn't have her down to be that series' Sideswipe!

Arms and hands are the same, albeit with new wrist and shoulder armour.
I'm pretty sure they'll be some more stuff under the new body armour too.

I really like this. They have leaned heavily into the Monster Hunter aesthetic. Both in terms of the monster mode, and the look of the humanoid mode with the big armoured skirts and the Buster Sword style weapon that can have the "chunk of monster as axe head" stuck onto it. They absolutely went all out to create a Monster Hunter'd up Prime.
It is also a wonderfully current choice in terms of what they are crossing over with - Monster Hunter is very much a current franchise which makes it that bit more current and exciting. But at the same time it is fantastically out-of-left field in terms of something to choose to collaborate with if you are Transformers. I've been looking forward to seeing what this was going to be like since Tomy announced it earlier in the year, and they really have not disappointed on this one.
(I doubt that this is a reuse of the Airazor mold per se - I suspect that they'll have struck a completely new mould for this, they seem to be tending to archive molds these days rather than modifying them to make something else. It lets them keep master moulds so they can reissue stuff later on. I suspect that rather than a reuse of the physical mould it is more that they have reused the CAD for some of the parts that make up Airazor as the basis to add new components to, and then cut a new mould based on the resulting finished product. It makes sense, if you've got CAD files for raptor-ish legs that'd work for the size of design you are aiming for then you may as well import them and tweak the design a bit rather than start fresh from a blank workspace. Means you can save time for modelling the new wings, monster head and so forth.)

And for the record, yes - I am quite tempted by this. It is the first Collab thing I've been really tempted by other than Maverick. (we'll see what the other one that Tomy still have up their sleeves is like. Depending on what direction they go with that I may find an inexorable gravitational pull in its direction.

Airazor is the origin of the parts though be they physical or cad

I see what you're getting at but no, I think this is the Kingdom. Look at the shape of the foot with the 3 toes at one end, for bird mode, and a more angular robotic foot at the other

I have never heard of Monster Hunters. -Ralph Monster Hunter started as a Console game series, and has recently made a jump to appearing on PC as well. It is a fantasy setting where the player controls a member of the Monster Hunters guild, who hunts down huge creatures with swords and bows to protect communities and to harvest resources from the monsters to craft better equipment, which lets them hunt more powerful monsters...and so on, and so forth. Not played it myself, but it is a franchise with a large and dedicated following. (It also received the accolade of having an absolutely terrible film adaption in recent years featuring Mila Jovovitch. By all accounts it managed to be as terrible as the Resi movies, without the saving grace of being accidentally hilarious). Karl

Airazor is the origin of the parts though be they physical or cad I just wanted to clarify the possibilities, in case folks didn't realize the distinction was in play. I don't have a view on it personally - haven't stopped to do a close comparison, despite Filch literally sitting dangling her feet over my monitor. (She's not likely to be impressed if a squishy hoomin starts trying to examine her feet in detail - it could lead to misunderstanding...) Karl

It was the least entertaining game I have ever played. You basically walk around attacking and killing monsters that are minding their own business and make more convincing dinosaurs than the Jurassic World movies. I do not understand the appeal of this. And I have had some very bad interactions with the monster hunter fandom. I have come to loathe Monster Hunter franchise. And it all largely stems from me being tricked into playing it.
That said, I'm not going to go out of my way for this. But if it pops up on Pulse, I'll get it and ignore the MH bs, and make him a member of the maximal council of convoys

I kinda like this. But only kinda. The monster mode is very nicely done. The robot mode I'm not so keen on. I think it's just because they've had to shoehorn a Prime head into it, and it just doesn't work for me. I'd rather they'd gone with a different character, so that the robot mode could have had a different aesthetic. But then it wouldn't have been a Transformers X-wossname, would it..?

Originally I liked the dragon and wasn't keen on the robot, now I'm less keen on the dragon and better sold on the robot, which means I'll be skipping this.
I can tell this would be disappointing to me in person.

I like it. It has an interesting vibe. It kind of feels like a Convoy that crashed on a planet of enormous monsters and has had to become one of them to survive - both in a Beast Wars "protection from hostile environment" and a "hiding for safety" kind of way. A machine with a good heart, a fearsome champion of justice concealed beneath the form and the weight of physically becoming a monster in order to survive. It prompts narrative ideas just looking at it in a way that a lot of other recent toys don't do for me.
(I think the last full line that did that is actually the last year of Prime - which felt like an unrealised Post Apocalyptic Transformers line).
Also, he appears at first glance to have permanently affixed goggles on his forehead like Gotchard, which is an entertaining detail.
