The Cores have always been brisk sellers and tapes always do well. SS86 goes quicker than SS. And it was in stock rather than a preorder. If anything was going to go quick it was that.
We will keep an eye out for more.

The Leader Soundwave's Product Number is now with a set of Package Refreshes F9183 Metalhawk PR F9187 Strongarm PR F9188 Soundwave Is he the Walmart Voyager with tapes? What if the Soundwave is the Walmart Voyager with toy coloured Rumble & Frenzy using the SS86 Core in addition to (or, more likely, instead of) Ravage & Laserbeak? Rumble would be the same as Frenzy Red, yes, but Frenzy would be Blue & Black as opposed to pale blue & purple |

Yodel have decided I don't need a Frenzy and not delivered, saying I refused it because the package was damaged. There has been no attempt at a delivery.
Yodel now say it's up to Pulse to send a new one out, cuz they ain't coming back.

He's two different shades of blue, just less purpley than sunbow.
And Soundwave is gonna be the Siege mold unchanged from it's last release, and he'll be the only way to get Buzzsaw.

Dark Blue possibly. Certainly not the purple of the cartoon colours. I was working from photos online and wasn't able to get the toy to check.
But the point still stands: You could easily get a toy colours repaint from the SS86. Him and Toy Rumble would be enough to not make the Soundwave just a package refresh of the Netflix version

It happens a lot. Evri usually claim they're on the third delivery before they can be bothered to climb some stairs.
Funnily enough, despite the tracking saying I refused to accept it, and a chat log where they advise me to tell Pulse about it so they can sort this out, apparently they are going to try and deliver again tomorrow.
Fun times!

This does make some sense. Whilst I'd like for it to actually be Machine Wars Soundwave, that's just not going to happen. So another outing for the currently single-use Netflix mold makes sense. However... And Soundwave is gonna be the Siege mold unchanged from it's last release, and he'll be the only way to get Buzzsaw. I can't help but fear that this will be what they'll actually do. Fans have the Titans Return Buzzsaw and can wait.
It's interesting Rumble & Frenzy have had two goes this turn round: as Siege Micromasters and SS86 Cores but both fitting the same Soundwave.
Laserbeak & Ravage have Cybertron mode versions and updated Earth mode versions but neither is quite there: SS86 updates and a Buzzsaw from that?
Siege Ratbat is very good
Legacy Rewind and Eject could do with a redo in solid plastic, and probably one with guns and goodies - I wonder if this is the Autobot box on Selects for next year.
Steeljaw is on the SS86 Core runway
The leaves Ramhorn of the pre 87 tapes and he missed out being a tape in Titans Return too (but his Titanmaster version is still nice)

While I acknowledge and accept Pedantic of Derby's correction I will maintain that Titans Return is probably the best description for that family of tape remakes since that was the line the majority came out in and all were designed to interact with

SS86 Ravage done as well as Frumble would end the eternal quest to get a decent one. That's a key character that really deserves to be finally done right. A new condor wouldn't go amiss, but really a Laserbeak repaint would do Buzzsaw. The TR one is nice but way too big to fit with all the others. He looks fab with TR Soundwave & CW Leader Megatron in that bigger scale.

I would say that given we've had Frenzy/Rumble in SS86 that the birds would be a good shout too, but then we know everything coming from here to 2025 and their absence leaves quite a gap.

Yeah, I think they're pretty good, also - especially since they do a really good job of integrating all the weapon parts. The only thing they're really missing is good head articulation - but given the scale that's being worked out I can just about forgive that. |

Dug my Netflix Soundwave and WFC tapes out last night for a play
Still a pretty decent toy, easily the best Geneations Soundwave in a rather slim field, but if they're having another round with it it'd be nice to get new forearms and remove the kibble remaining from the Siege version. But apart from that....
Ravage definitely needs another go, and Laserbeak probably does too, which is potentially good news for Buzzsaw. The step up from the WFC con tape robots to the SS86 versions is huge.
