I really should get this 'cos then I'd have all the Siegey Cassettes! And a cassette-deck Soundwave! But I don't need them, I use Masterpiece Cassettes with Siege Soundwave (even though they don't fit in his chest). What to do!

Ravage and Buzzsaw (Laserbeak) were originally sold as a 2 pack at the Micromaster size in Siege They are, in tape mode, the same dimensions as Rumble/Frenzy/Steeljaw Core size. Rumble/Frenzy have more articulation and are slightly larger than their Micromaster counterparts. They also come with additional accessories, their guns and pile drivers. Hope that makes sense? |

There are two sets of Frenzy/Rumble and both work with the same Soundwave but one set are Micromasters and one set are Core?
But this Legacy United Soundwave which is the exact same toy as Netflix Soundwave has tapes, but some are Core and some are Micromasters?
So the Frenzy/Rumble with this set is not a Micromaster but a Core?
MOONS OF MADNESS! No wonder Hasbro stuff is tanking these days.

Actually I can comment...
Micromasters were sold as 2 packs in 2019 & 2020.
Core were sold singlely from 2021 to 2024
At no point were they overlapping at retail, and Micromasters only appearances since then have been in Multipacks like this one.
None of these toys have their size class labelled on Soundwave's box. We only know cos we're toy nerds. Man on the street would think box with some little toys in.

Core and Micromaster tapes all over my desk at the moment.
I got the box out I keep them in - Geerations Selects 10 Spy Patrol turned inside out - and then had to track down the AWOL WFC Laserbeak, who was in the Earth Mode Decepticons box in the garage in WFC Battlepack Soundwave's chest
It's nice to finally have a complete set of original 5 (6 if you include Ratbat) tapes for Soundwave though it does annoy me that the only way to do it is to buy TWO Earthmode (WFC Battlepack/Dramatic Capture AND Legacy United) Soundwaves!

I would dearly love for Hasbro to give "Enemy" a proper name.
Hell, call him N.M.E. and say he's a rap fan, if you must.
I just would like something with more thought than taking a work off a 40 year old box.
