Well we've done Edinburgh and we've done Glasgow so we haven't yet decided on a venue. Chances are it will be around the usual time of late October and early november.

I think it was Nigel who suggested we take in the Wallace Monument in Stirling on the previous Hub-generation, after ascending the Scott Monument this year. If we can find a reasonable public transport link out that way it might be worth doing.

It's walkable from the city centre, depending on fitness of attendees. I think it's about 1.5 - 2 miles. The nearest train station is Bridge of Allan, about a mile from the monument. There should be bus stops closer.

There should be bus stops closer. There are - there are a couple of stops in Causewayhead on either side of the Roundabout at the top of Causewayhead Road. From there it is just a short wander either up the road or through Causewayhead park and up the steps from there. Karl

Following some email discussions the Scotcon Diktatorat have arrived at a date for the momentous meet up.
It will be the first weekend in December of this year (6th and 7th) to be exact.

Shouldn't be a problem for me, but what exactly does Scotcon involve?
I-is there alcohol?

Alcohol, fanzines, japery - THE QUIZ OF DOOM courtesy of Nick. These quizzes will cause anguish in your soul. Perhaps Ralph dancing and bragging about his ability to take INSERT ANY NAME in a fight.

Why didn't you do one of your quizzes of doom at AA? I would have loved to partake in such an evil challenge.

Andy Who knows, there may even be deadly games of TF Risk and/or TF Monopoly. I shall of course have the portable mp3 player with speakers loaded up with Star Dub tunes! -Ralph

Weather might not be the best so easy access to reliable (reasonably anyway) public transport and amenities will be the order of the day. Andy

TF Risk you say..? Ahhh... I remember that... Ah yes indeed - a mighty struggle for the soul of Cybertron it was. Full of heroic last stands and epic conflicts. Karl
