One of these days, I'll get around to updating my database. For ages I've only held paper records of new acquisitions. It should be well over 2000 by now.

I had a count at the weekend, and my collection has slightly decreased in numbers.
Mind you, I did a, put a few up on eBay last year and b, lose a box of Energon toys to the tyre of an articulated truck.

As I've already mentioned before, my TF toy collection isn't all that big. Part of the reason has to do with living with a family of anti-TF fans who think that collecting toys is for kids. Heaven forbid what they would say if they went around to Nick's house!

You're a grown man! You shouldn't give two figs what your family think about your hobbies!

I don't - that's why I've still got them. It doesn't however stop them saying stuff like that though.

You're a grown man! You shouldn't give two figs what your family think about your hobbies! I certainly don't! My dad comes in daily trying to pursuade me to sell some on ebay (he's obsessed with ebay at the moment)

You're a grown man! You shouldn't give two figs what your family think about your hobbies! And by telling him what a grown man shouldn't do, you've become as bad as them. Martin

How many now, chaps? More, less or the same amount since this poll was started? I would say I'm pretty much the same, maybe slightly increased. Some have moved on, but others have arrived to take their place. Large influx of Movie stuff last year being the biggest addition, along with a smattering of Universe Classics and the odd Masterpiece here and there. It's Marvel Legends and GI Joe 25th that've occupied my coppers in the last coupla years.

After losing half of my original childhood collection, i've managed go from around 10 to above 50 - half of them must be Classics and Universe, with an ever growing Encore and Reissue collection

to state the obvious.....the Hartmans used to have the biggest collection until they sold them off at one of the Botcons, then Tony Preto had the biggest one! dunno if he still has, there could always be someone out there with bigger! nowadays

Mods! I seem to have locked this sort of accidentally? I wasn't logged in, and there was a "lock this poll" link which I assumed I would never have privileges for but it seemed to work when I clicked it out of curiosity and now there is no unlock link. Sorry!

Hmmm I don't seem to be able to select an actual option in the poll. I can put a tick next to one of the options, but no way to finalise my vote.
Well I have had a small collection for numerous years of G1 figures, though mostly reissues and some cheap ebay buys back before the live action movies came about. Due to some bad time I did have to get rid of the jewel of my collection a few years ago, so my Brave Maximus was last seen headed towards Holland. I have at least tripled my collection over the past year with a few Animated, Reveal The Shield and Prime figures being added to more G1 purchases. I finally completed Bruticus to go along with Menasor though I do need to find a junker Blast Off as his connection port on his pack has snapped off.

I have been steadily reducing my collection over the last few years with a steady acceleration in the last year. Once had about a thousand of the buggers, now down to around 50 or less. Much happier now.

The new poll system is just the tick, you can move your vote as long as the poll remains open. Andy

How many now, chaps? More, less or the same amount since this poll was started? Partly as we have some new beautiful and interesting members recently, and partly 'cos it's time and I'm interested to know- How is everyone's collection doing? I think I'm over 200 now, but it's perfectly formed and sculpted to my nostalgic driven needs.
