Ha ha! You're doomed. It's this bunch on here, they're a bad influence. Especially that Ayres bloke. I think being part of a regular discussion about the toys has probably upped the number I've bought in the last six months on the year before that, but I have always bought into the various lines (except for the mid-90s/G2 stuff). Transformers is something too big for me to be a completist about, it would do my head in if I started to think that way, and I do badly have that mentality so it's a fine line I tread, but I tend to go for 'representative displays' that I can call a personal 'complete' set. If I've made the list of what I'm after and I've ticked everything on it, then I can just about cope with the fact there are more figures I don't have. They aren't on my list so they don't count. As for the actual size of my collection, at the moment I couldn't say for sure. It's never all been in the same house at the same time, but it isn't big. I mentioned a while back one of my ongoing projects this year is to properly catalogue and unify my collection so I do know for sure what I have, which will inevitably lead to filling gaps and buying more, *cough* Jetfire *cough*. At a guess I'd say 350+ but as I can't visualise the lot together it may turn out to be more than that. I bet all those blinking Armada mini-cons rack up quickly for a start.

I collect just the lines or figures that mean something to me in a nostalgic and/or playwithable sense. "personal complete" is a great way of putting it. Still.... don't look into his eyes.... not for a second.....
