I saw MU Beta Ray Bill in FP Brum today, but at £12 they can get stuffed. I'll wait for the inevitable £4 one in Asda.

Wrecker continues to delight. He's brilliant.
Also, I have updated my Legends Wolverine and Cyclops with the new figures from the current Legends 'Puck' wave. Very nice figures indeed. Might look out for the Emma Frost and Sabretooth in this wave as well.
Planning on grabbing a Select Colossus as an update (Colossus needs to be BIG!), and I've the Modular Iron Man and the new Ultimate Cap' on the way as well. So a general update of some of the older Legends figures in my collection.
I'm also selling off large chunks if my Legends collection at the mo. My tastes are maturing I think, I'm finding less is more.
Edit: So if anyone's in the market for some older Marvel Legends be sure to check out my amazing and incredible C.O.C.K. on ebay! You wont believe your eyes! Never have such wonders ever been seen before!!!!

Is he lusting after an under-age girl in a highly disturbing manner?

Blimey. The new Emma Frost figure from the 'Puck wave' is, er, very attractive. I can see why she's already getting hard to get hold of.

Wow, the newest Universe Captain America mold us outstanding! Really outstanding! So much better than the original Universe Cap mold. He now fights Universe Baron Zemo on my display shelf, as Quakewave, MP Soundwave and MP 10 look on.

Right, quick question - how do the Avengers movie figures compare in terms of size to 3+3/4 inch Joes? I'm rethinking a custom and am wondering whether a Movie Natasha would be a better base figure for it.

Exactly the same I believe. I know I've found Joe weapons in with Marvel Universe figures

Yes the two lines match up perfectly. I confirm this as an owner of many figeroons from both lines!

Excellent, broadens my options for a base figure for Bolt-Action a bit.

Bolt-Action?

Post by legios on Nov 6, 2013 22:15:08 GMT
Not a pre-existing Joe, custom character entirely. Just felt that they needed a proper sniper, seeing as they have a spotter in Low-Light, and I see no reason they shouldn't be a woman in this enlightened age. Decided on Bolt-Action as a code-name because as a Sniper she'd be certified on more bolt-action firearms than most Joes (until fairly recently, and since the First World War, they have been the most common sniper weapons). Got a few ideas kicking around for custom Joes but that is the one that is clearest in my head at the moment. And I think I may be better going with a Natasha Romanov as the basis for her - rather than my other plan which was to use Movie Cover Girl.

An excellent idea! Let us see the finished figure as and when. I've always thought there should be/have been more female characters in Action Force/GI Joe.

Both? As one of them is Jeanne-Marie Baubier doesn't that mean that there are three characters represent? :-) *ducks, very quickly* Karl

Just remembered, there's an Ares figure coming out eventually in Universe. Can't find a pic anywhere now, but I'm pos I saw one. I need an Ares to complete my Darks Avengers set.

Some new 'Infinite' waves are out, including the excellent looking modern Baron Zemo, which is a must for me, an excellent looking 'Marvel Now' Captain America, and the long awaited Black Widow 6", which has been a void in my Legends collection, since the original Legends Black Widow looks very dated and has a really weird neck!

Chaps, I'm after some Legends Black Widow advice. Why is the new 'Infinite' line BW so fracking expensive?!!! Do you think this wave will be released over here? Is the price going to come down? Or will the figure become rarer?! Desperately need a decent Widow in my Legends collection. The 'two-pack' figure from a few years back is as rare as rare can be. I would actualy much rather have a two-pack Widow, I preffer the 'comic book' style rather than the 'movie style', despite the fact movie Widow has grown on me. But any decent Black Widow will do! I got rid of my original Legends Widow ages ago. Never liked that figure. Wierd neck joint, and looked very dated.
