Acquired my first ever Marvel Legends figure, the retro-packaged WCA Vision. Finding out that US Agent was on his way this year, with Scarlet Witch and Tigra already available, finally pushed me into it - the possibility of putting together a Byrne West Coast Avengers team seems plausible! Ah but will they do a Hank Pym in red jump suit figure? They'd better! I am three figures in now, Vision, Tigra, and Scarlet Witch. Tigra is much more eye-searingly orange in hand than I expected, it's almost fluorescent. |

I'm not usually much of a Marvel Legends buyer (the BAF nonsense generally puts me off and I prefer the Retro 3.75 inch range) but I do have the 'retro' ML Doctor Doom and the Kapow sale of £60 *half-price* for the set of 'retro' ML Reed, Sue, Ben, Johnny, The High Evolutionary and Psycho Man was too good an offer to pass on. I had been watching to see if they would ever go on sale.
I do like the FF and Doom needed someone to fight (and allies).

Good price. I have the first release of that Doom, lovely chunky figure. I was going to swap it out for the retro version but decided I couldn't be bothered. The retro Mysterio is very nice too.

Giant Man/Goliath if they got another big figure Colossus, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Rogue, Professor-X, The Beast & The Angel from the pre mid 80s X-Men Venom and Grey Hulk (ish) are the only characters in here who first appeared after the mid 80s |

Went back to Asdaland and picked up 4 more as they are £8 in there, cheaper than online. I now have 15 of these buggers though the forces of evil are somewhat overmatched. 3 villains and 12 goodies. Megneto, Electro and Bullseye V Grey Hulk, Ant-Man, The Vision, the Human Torch, the Invisible Woman, Cyclops, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Carol Danvers, Black Panther and Green Hulk. I just noticed that Green and Grey Hulks have different head sculpts! I...may need more come pay day... -Ralph How many does Ralph have now?? |
