The portable console is HORRIBLE.
The flip phone looks bad but I actually really liked that one. It's really fun!

Maybe it was a good display picture then, I didn't click through to the listing.

That's it. I only seen the console mode which I still think looks nice after seeing it there. That robot mode is horrific though.

I thought the Real Gear toys were quite fun. I enjoyed playing with them much more than most of the Main Line 2007 series!

Some of them were good fun! The only ones I kept were the controller (High Score 100) and the red MP3 player (Booster X10), but I never found any of them all that bad. This reminds me I've been meaning to get a Meantime (great name for a Decepticon watch!) since I moved to Greenwich.

Phil- we did indeed take your Real Gears off your hands and down to RORC. Everyone from the second wave onwards sold over the weekend. The first wave chaps (the ones that were eeeeeeverywhere) did not, and are still here somewhere.

Memory says those down the fag end of the line were harder to get hold of But I believe it was one of those lines where even if they're rare, they're cheap as no-one really cares that much. A friend of mine decided to complete the real gear, and had no trouble doing it, and did it pretty quickly. So yeah, I think they shouldn't be too difficult.

There was a difference between the Japanese releases I think? They had different stickers on them showing scenes from the movie or something? Or the other way round. I still have them all. In a box. As with all my toys

Well that was easy. 3 months after deciding not to get the Real Gear toys I've managed to pick them all up in the space of 2 days on a whim. 2 job lots and a single purchase of one of the rarer ones has seen me finish the collection, apart from the mythical Wave 6 which don't seem to exist outside of a Wiki entry.
I've even managed to pick up 2 or 3 which don't appear on the Wiki entry for the toys.

That Twitcher was long gone before I came up with idea of collecting them, don't know exactly when but his listing was one of the original ones I came across way back in November and he only had 3 of the common ones left then. I've looked everywhere. Twitcher, Farsight and Midnighter are nowhere to be seen. They don't exist.
For my sanity, they don't exist.

Real Gear toys are great. I remember trying to get all of them a few years back, but can't remember how far I got. I also don't know where the ones I got are. Will have a dig next weekend, see whether I can find them, and whether I managed to get any mythical wave 6.

I got to the bottom of what the camcorder and phone are. They're TECH weapons from the movie, namely Digital Dagger (who the hell came up with that name?) and Tightshot..
