Took a week off half way through disc 7. The back end of the show if far better than the early episodes. Maybe my definintion of animation is always suitably adjusted by this point but the animation seems better. Maybe more of the better quality Takara animation was making it to the western show by now. Maybe its just that the still drawings are generally better (bloody hell its amazing just how bad some of the drawings left on screen for multiple seconds with nothing happening to distract from their badness )
But then I just got to the Unicron transforming episode. In a very sweet moment Hotshot returns Demolishers missing Minicon. ......... Decepticon minicons having been established as actual slaves... So .....so Hotshot just returned a slave to a slave owner. WTF!!!!!!
