I'll nail my colours to the mast and say I actually rather liked Armada, once you get past the 'a Minicon is somewhere, lets find it' and the rather crap dubbing and animation (seriously, HOW big is Tidal Wave?). There's some really good stuff hiding in there though (of course, Energon dealt with all the characterisation by going "LA LA MIND WIPE"). Anyway below are my picks:
16. Credulous
Hot Shot and his best buddy Sideways are warped to the Decepticon base on the moon, along with the Starsaber sword. That can't end well!
23. Rebellion
All Starscream ever wanted was for Megatron to respect him. But Megatron becomes convinced Starscream wants to take over. And then comes Sideways, stirring up the pot (probably one of the best eps, watch this if nothing else)
27. Detection
Just who is Sideways? What does he want? What's with the floaty head?
31 & 32 Past parts 1 &2
A long time ago Hot Shot had a bestest buddy called Wheeljack. Then he left Wheeljack to die, and he was rescued by Megatron. Now Wheeljack has joined up with the Decepticons and he is all
at Hot Shot.
33 - 37 Regeneration - Crack
Starscream is awesome and Smokescreen finds out why it is called the 'Requiem Blaster' when he is left alone in a room with Megatron and a big gun.
And then lots of stuff goes down, it is good.
38 & 39 Threaten & Crisis
Thrust and his sneaky friend Sideways have built the Hydra Cannon, a gigantic space cannon. Megatron decides to test it out by shooting the Earth and only Optimus and Jetfire (as the only space-capable Autobots can stop him). This can't end well!
42-52 Miracle - Mortal Combat (eps 40 and 41 are boring).
Megatron has pretty much trounced the Autobots, and is racing back to Cybertron with his really big gun and all his minicons. The Autobots give chase through space, but meet such dangers as NEMESIS PRIME.
Then GASP as we see the Decepticons conquer Cybertron. COWER as various treachery is revealed. DISCOVER the SECRET ORIGIN of the Minicons.
And where has Unicron been all this time?
