That's all seven episodes of Ambassadors of DEATH now sitting in Blogspot on timed release for the next 7 Saturdays Just In Case something happens to me. Will try to get Inferno done too.
Rather proud of AoD. Effectively it's had a third pass as I had some new information come to light after I finished it. It's also one of the best rounds of the identify the extras game that I've played.....
.....closely followed by Inferno and it's MANY lab technicians. And doing that in turn revealed a great little piece of subtlety with the extras casting that I'd neither spotted or seen remarked on before.

"In a few minutes we shall know the answer to the question that has been occupying the minds of everyone here at Space Control since Mars Probe 7 took off on its return journey from the red planet nearly eight months ago. What has happened to astronauts Frank Michaels and Joe Lefee? Communications remained perfect on the long outward journey to the red planet and throughout the difficult landing. For a full twelve hours they sent back pictures and reports from the surface of Mars. Both then seemed in perfect health, then silence!" This week on Fifty Years of Doctor Who we're watching episode 265 The Ambassadors of Death: Episode One 50yearsdoctorwho.blogspot.com/2020/03/265-ambassadors-of-death-episode-one.htmland, just in case, the rest of the season is cued up and ready to release every Saturday at 50yearsdoctorwho.blogspot.com/

Has there been anything said about the blu-ray range? I've just realised that although I pre-ordered 12, I didn't do 14, and that seems to be out of stock everywhere now. These sets usually go out of stock on Amazon when they reach their original release dates, but come back in again just before they actually do come out. But I get twitchy when I can't get something. Zoom usually have them right the way through, but they don't have 14 either.

I imagine the people making the blu ray range have their minds concentrated on other things at the moment. We can expect delays on these kind of things.

Today is the 100th anniversary of Patrick Troughton's birth?
I didn't know it till reading @mwtroughton's book but I'd met Patrick more than once: This bearded figure used to occasionally board the #71 bus I'd ride home from school in the mid 80s.
When I read Patrick's biography and saw his Dad used to live in a flat above a garage in Ham I went "Hang on...." and made the connection!

In current circumstances, I thought Amazon was not dispatching non-essential items so I was very surprised to get the email today.

As long as the spines match I don't care. Hopefully that means this version fixes all the problems with the first one.
I've just had a look and seen that Amazon have charged me for this, so presumably it's on the way. I'm more worried about Season 14 now. I don't have a pre-order down on that and there's no where to get one.

How far down the physical production line s14 got could depend on stock levels. Production may be paused (so not taking orders) if the places making the discs etc are shut down.

"There has been another extraordinary development in the mystery of Mars Probe 7. The two space capsules, Mars Probe 7 and Recovery 7, which have been locked together in radio silence, have now separated. But there is still no communication from Charles Van Lyden, nor from astronauts Michaels and Lefee." This week on Fifty Years of Doctor Who we're watching episode 266 The Ambassadors of Death: Episode Two 50yearsdoctorwho.blogspot.com/2020/03/266-ambassadors-of-death-episode-two.html

Having read RTD's wee pre Rose bit of fiction and despite how much I enjoy Night of the Doctor - I find myself a little miffed that McGann wasn't used for the 50th special.
